Raymond Felton

There are many reasons the Bobcats are down 0-2 in this best-of-7 series entering Saturday afternoon’s sold-out game in Charlotte, but Felton is one of the biggest. He will tell you that, too.

“As a point guard, I put that blame on me,” Felton said after Charlotte got manhandled for the second straight game in Orlando, 92-77, on Wednesday. “Some people would say it’s not your fault. But being a point guard, being a leader, you’ve got to blame someone. So put it all on me. I don’t care.”

Interesting article on Felton named "Playoffs look bigger than Felton." I totally agree, he doesn't look comfortable out there. Also, his quote where he says he'll take the blame because he's the point guard doesn't seem genuine. It is almost like yeah I'll take the blame because you have to put it on someone. But he should realize that a good bit of blame should be on him, not because he's a point guard but because he's played poorly. But everyone needs to step up their game.

please stop!!! while felton is in my mind above average, he has proven that he is this teams best defender(point guard)over the course of the last two seasons and has hit clutch shots for us. what felton needs to do is become more agressive at the offensive end of the floor but i also agree that if he wants mega dollars in fa then let him walk and try to find someone else

What Felton needs to do is stop being so submissive.

If he thinks the opposing PG is better than he is, he reverts to pussy mode.

It wouldn't have been that bad for Felton if he wasn't terrified of Jameer-fuging-Nelson.

I guarantee you Felton plays above average Defense on Jameer it would outweigh his offensive ineptitude thus leading to at least (1) win by now.

And funny how when D.J was in, the Bobcats yet again make an impressive run and almost taking the lead.

But, that's another point on it's own.
