OMFG what a joke, Bears & Giants get 4 primetime games?

Seriously? Somebody is confused as to why the Giants and Bears get more primetime games than us?

Considering we haven't signed one star and lost a lot, and TV ratings when we play are low --- I can't see how it shocks anybody!!! :)

Teams with more history and/or big names (like Manning) tend to get at least some prime time consideration regardless of whether they're up or down at the moment. The Cowboys could be 0-16 the prior year and still get prime time games.

Doesn't really bother me that much (there is a certain logic to it). If we get to a more consistent winning tradition, we'll be there. And in a lot of ways, it's actually easier on the teams and coaches to not have to shift around a lot.

The perception right now is that the Panthers are sacrificing competitiveness in the name of saving money, hedging against a lockout that looks more and more likely with each passing day. That is not what is going to get a team on primetime TV in the NFL. It's not a knock on Carolina, I just think that's the reality of the situation.

QUoting the obvious answer. Zero primetime games should surprise no one with how the big cat is handling the team this year.
