Steelers have begun contacting teams to trade Ben

If I was the Rams, I would offer this years 2nd, next years 1st and next years 3rd (that could become a 2nd if he makes the probowl) for Big Ben. Then take Suh with their 1st and still get a decent WR with this year's 3rd round pick. Then all three of their top needs right now (QB, DT & WR) are met.

If I was Pitt, I would take it.

Pitt would then have a shot at McCoy or The Golden Calf of Bristol at 33, or they could take one of them or maybe Clausen at 18... Not a bad deal for either of them..

I'm still not sold on the fact that Pitt is going to head into the year with Leftwich, Dixon, and Batch alone...

But then again, I don't like white WRs either...

made you look

Oakland would not be scared to bring him on. They are the bad boys of the NFL along with the Bengals. If i was them i would not even think about including Nnamdi Asomugha. If a top 10 and ridding themselves of a headache and embarrassment is not enough for the Steelers i would not make the deal. Big Ben would get to play his former team in week 11. Also if he keeps his pants zipped he could be playing in week 5 against the Chargers. The Raiders do not have a game against a division rival till week 5. If Ben could lead them to a AFC West Championship all would be forgiven in OAKLAND at least.

I live right outside of Pittsburgh and a local radio station was taking calls and someone suggested that they trade Ben to the Panthers for Moore and the Panthers 2nd round pick. The host quickly pointed out that if the Steelers didn't want Ben, the Panthers and Jerry Richardson wouldn't want Ben either.

I think most people around here think he will be traded or at least they are hoping he will be traded. He is hated around here even before this situation came about. There was a story that just recently came out, that surprizingly hasn't hit the national media yet, about him refusing to meet a kid that was dying of cancer. The team had set it up with Make a Wish and when the kid came to the training complex Ben through a fit and was screaming at his agent that he didn't have time for this. The kid was within earshot and heard it all.

A real class act!
