I won't say I hated him, but I defintely didn't beleive in him from the moment we traded up for the pick 1 in 2023 draft. But I'll admit he's trending in the right direction in basically the last half of his 2nd year

I'm not crowning him the king of anything until we make some concrete progress as a franchise (ex. winning record, playoffs, etc). But as of right now, he looks like he's on the right path to lead us that way.

I still want to see him do it in a larger sample size in the context of a winning successful season first

I wanted Stroud, but Young is starting to justify his pick.

thats the best way to sum up my opinions.

We gotta let it bake for a good while to really make any definitive statements about the team or Bryce.

Teams are ultimately judged by Wins vs Losses and playoff / Super bowl success, and we got none of that yet.

If we can either get a winning season and/or playoff berth in 2025, that is gargantuan progress considering we haven't been to the playoffs or had a winning season in 7 years ongoing.

Another step up would be back to back winning seasons and/or playoff wins.

He wasn't my first pick but his resurrection was amazing and unexpected.  To score 44 points against a team fighting for their playoff lives with a bunch of backups was far from promising.  It was the best quarterback play by a Panther QB in several years. And to beat the dirty birds at their home in overtime with a walkout TD is the stuff of panther legends. Bryce put the team on his shoulders and decided if we keep scoring we can't lose. I am still on board to draft a QB if a great one is there but Bryce had one of the best QB days from a scoring production point of view as any in franchise history.

This team has way too many other needs to draft a QB with the way the second half of the season has gone.

But the draft is the best place to get expensive pieces like DEs, left OTs, QBs and top notch middle linebackers. So to have your starting and backup QBs both on rookie contracts would free up a ton of money for free agents to plug in holes. Expand your point of view.....

    • Lots of time between now and the draft. Most mocks are very similar but how do you see the top 7 playing out Obviously there’s the 2 QB’s: Cam Ward and Shadeur Sanders. We want both to go in the top 7 Unicorn: Travis Hunter Defensive prospects: Mason Graham, Abdul Carter, Jalon Walker, Will Johnson, Malaki Starks, Mykel Williams Offensive prospects: Kelvin Banks, Will Campbell, Tetairoa McMillan, Luther Burden, Ashton Jeanty, Colston Loveland, Tyler Warren   Tennessee (for sure) and 1 of Cleveland/NYG are probably going QB Titans: Cam Ward Browns: QB? Either Sanders or Hunter. Giants: Depends on Browns. Take who Browns don’t between Sanders and Hunter  Pats: Banks? They need to protect Maye but they could opt for a WR (McMillan). Similar to the Chase/Sewell debate in Cincy a few years back although neither Banks or McMillan are on the same level Jags: Kind of a wild card with a new coach coming in. Mason Graham between Josh Allen and Travon Walker would be quite the DL Raiders: If they move Crosby maybe they take Carter? Tyree Wilson doesn’t seem to be what they had hoped. This team needs talent in a similar way we do  Jets: I could see Jalon Walker going here tbh. Add Walker into a front with McDonald and Williams. Will Johnson and Sauce would instantly become the best 1-2 CB duo in the league.  ——————————— This draft is going to be a hard one to predict  So let’s say Ward, Sanders, Hunter, McMillan, Graham, Carter and Walker are the first 7 off the board Who are you taking at 8?
