This year's Will Levis

My record of predicting successful NFL QBs is so bad, I can say this:  At the SR Bowl, they really got impressed with his timing when throwing to WRs covered by CBs with their back to the QB (Man coverage).  back shoulder, dropping in the bucket, etc. He was really reading the defense-this from an article about the Jets being "intrigued" by the young QB--some say he will creep into the back of the first round--Jets need an OT and they could take one at #7, then trade up a bit to get Dart in round 2 late 1.

So... Jonathan Martin's camp basically invented that whole Richie Incognito bullying story because Martin was quitting football but they wanted to try to get him paid and didn't mind throwing a legit player under the bus unfairly in the process and ESPN seemingly unknowingly airs the whole thing in an attempted post-NFL puff piece for Martin. LOLOLOL

Hopefully Incognito can sue the fug out of some folks. In hindsight him acting bewildered by the whole situation texting Martin like "what is this stuff???" all of a sudden makes perfect sense.

He waited over 10 years to set the record straight and throw his mom under the bus lol.

I can't believe ESPN legitimately thought it was going to be a good idea to try to move forward with this attempted puff piece. You would've thought that somewhere before publishing they would've realized that the puff piece just was not going to be the right way to roll this out and that the puff piece had become an exposé along the way.

Am I the only one that didn't like either at the time and thinks it's funny they are all being humiliated by this 10 years later? Incognito threatened to steal his father's head from a funeral home? It's a fight between to crazy mofos and neither are likable people. Jerry springer level energy lol.

Also Martin will just hide behind CTE if sued. He has always been unstable so good luck proving his words come from any place stable. And Ingognito would be a hard client to represent because the chances of him going off the rails in a trail would be almost guaranteed. What a poo show.

Totally agree on them both looking bad. Incognito would have no chance of winning a suit after the infamous voicemail he left.

"Hey, wassup, you half n----- piece of s---. I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks. [I want to] s--- in your f---ing mouth. [I'm going to] slap your f---ing mouth. [I'm going to] slap your real mother across the face [laughter]. F--- you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you.

Not sure they made the whole thing up or that Incognito would have a chance in hell suing Martin--when Incognito leaves evidence like this:

""Hey, wassup, you half-niggxr piece of sh*t. I saw you on Twitter, you been training 10 weeks. I'll sh*t in your fukking mouth. I'm going to slap your fukking mouth, I'm going to slap your real mother across the face [laughter]. Fukk you, you're still a rookie. I'll kill you."

I get the locker room hazing--it is rough at times.  In college, I had to sing in front of the entire team, get Seniors milk in the cafeteria or training table, carry helmets to practice--but it was all 37 freshman, not just me. Eventually, I retaliated (toward the end of the season).  I wrote and sang song about the Seniors that mocked them--I put salt in their milks, etc. But by then, we had bonded.  There was a 6-8, 328 lb player who used to grab me after practice and squeeze me (hard to breath after practice). After our final practice, he threw me into the cold lake beside the practice field. It was never malicious in my mind.  I encouraged it.  HOWEVER, If I heard an upperclassman address one of my freshmen teammates like this, I would have taken some action  on his behalf.  It crosses several lines. I mean, at no time in any situation is it OK to call someone a racial slur, threaten him with physical abuse/assault, threaten his mother with physical violence, and then communicate a death threat.  Humor?  Sarcasm?  No--this was part of a pattern.  If I were Martin, I would not want to stay there after this alone, but if I already wanted an out, Cognito provided it.

My point is not to state who did what and what was made up or not--this alone is criminal. You seem to imply that Incognito was falsely accused. Hard to defend that argument when they have evidence like this. This alone will prevent Incognito from suing anyone.  Do you think a jury or judge would hear this and consider Incognito a victim?  Nope.

I get the impression that Martin did not love football and wanted out, and his heart was not in it.  This became his golden ticket.  Did Incognito increase his motivation for wanting out?   Yes.

there is an 11-year old Hispanic girl who was recently bullied at school.  They called her immigrant and told her that she would be deported because her family is full of rapists and murderers.  She committed suicide--at 11.  Do you think the politicians will accept any responsibility?  This is what THEY were saying.  Do you think the teachers who may have witnessed this and dismissed it as trivial or "kids being kids".  Will the bullies take responsibility?  When you bully, what happens next is on you, and if it backfires, you can't sue.

I don't know why this bothers me, but I saw where Sanders is not working out at the Combine.  He does not have a first-round grade, and his season was below expectations.  I would participate.

Ward isn't throwing either.

I figured he wouldn't but he is coming in following a good year.  Sanders had 10 picks and the 20th QBR--I would have wanted to show scouts that is a fluke.  Ward had 7 picks but his QBR was rated second.  I am thinking from the perspective of the agent--I think Sanders is smooth when there is not rush so I would have had him participate.

    • If the dude can be a true #1 option, and I think he can be, then it's not a wasted pick or trying to be a poverty franchise. It's taking a game changer, which the Panthers need.
    • Chinn is 6'3" 220, Luvu is 6'3 235, Walker is 6'2 245. He is nothing like Chinn. He is not a gadget player, he is a true ILB that can rush the passer and play edge on passing downs.  He is also a leader, which we definitely need on defense, especially with Shaq gone.
