Yep. Vrabel is official. Saw speculation he might try to get Josh McDaniels back as his OC.

Rumors also have talk of Ben Johnson to the Raiders "heating up". Tom Brady is said to be practically begging him to take the job.

The Bears is the only job that would be attractive to me if I was Johnson. Way more talent than Las Vegas and they actually have a good young QB versus the Raiders who have the worst QB roster in the NFL.

I'm not high on Williams.

That's a 2nd stringer and two 3rd/PS players.

I think they pick sixth, but they could also pull a veteran and wait for their future QB.

After what Johnson did with Goff, that's definitely an option.

Ward and Sanders will be off the board by 6. The gulf between those two and the next group of QB's is pretty massive.

Not sure I would want to be overdrafting a QB in this draft.

Then they'd go with a veteran and wait to pick their franchise guy.

I'd add the word that the Raiders want no part of Deion makes me doubt they'd be interested in Shedeur anyway.

Oh they would definitely be interested in Sanders(and reportedly are). Deion has nothing to do with it.

What veteran? Russell Wilson maybe? I don't think there is much beyond him, if he is even available.

Raiders have Brock Bowers who had the best rookie TE season in NFL history lol. They also have a solid WR in Jacobi Meyers. They do need a QB and RB . They haven't had a good QB in a quite a while and likely won't be drafting one unless they give up a haul of picks for Sheddur or Ward. Or take a flyer on Milroe  or get lucky with late round qb like the Ohio State QB, Rourke from Indiana, Kyle McCord from Syracuse. Maybe Quinn Ewers if he comes out

Just not a good year for qbs in the draft. They might also try to sign Darnold or Cousins or something.

I think they'll draft a QB outside of R1,  and also pick up a different vet qb

And this is why I think Johnson will not have interest in LV. The lack of QB makes any offensive genius struggle. Ask Daboll.

I still believe this is Chicago or staying in Detroit for Johnson.

    • I’m sure it’s been said but I just want to drop in to say Tom Brady sucks.  That is all.
    • Who has passed judgment? Y'all are a piece of work. You act like stating the obvious current trend on QB efficiency on two young QBs, including ours, is passing judgement. I know some of you have a difficult time comprehending, while others of you feign it. The story hasn't been written on either Stroud, or, more importantly, Bryce Young. As I am a Panthers fan, I am infinitely more interested in discussing Bryce, and not just in a negative sense whenever the topic of Stroud comes up like some...and I'm not going to apologize for it, and I'm not going to apologize for being tired of the understated shots at Young whenever the two come up, and I'm certainly not going to continue to discuss either of them within the context of the past, and definitely not going to negate the larger context of their current situations when comparing them presently and speculating about the future. Deal with it!
    • As a first round draft pick, I expected much more from XL. Brooks was a second round pick they lit on fire. Finding Coker undrafted is the lightning this team lucks its way in to from time to time (Luvu, Smitty in the third, Norwell in FA, Jake, etc). I like smith-Wade and really like Sanders.  so I’ll give this draft a D unless they find a way to parlay Brooks in to a decent draft pick from another team. I don’t think he plays a meaningful down here. No draft where first and second round picks are wiffs get better than a D.  Teams that whiff repeatedly on first and/or second round picks … (like this team does)… they suck. And they stay awful until they accept just how devoid they are of real talent. At that point a new, smart, GM comes in and in 2 drafts, picking in the top 5, choosing the OBVIOUS BPA PICK… they now have legit, young, blue chip talent raising the level of play of the entire team. I can see how selling an owner on a BPA strategy would be hard to do.
