No, I do not believe this is actually Belichick but I did notice that the account is being followed by the actual Aaron Wilson. Still think it's likely fake but that gives me pause

Mind you, even if this were legitimately associated with him, no way do I believe Belichick himself would be the one writing the tweets.

Some more insight into the Mayo decision...

It kinda sounds like he believed he was Belichick 2.0 and started acting accordingly even though he hadn't truly earned that kind of status.
