If folks are going to blame him for the bad times then they gotta give him credit for the good times as well.

Landing a franchise QB is a good thing.

Cam was broken down.  But that's not why they disregarded him.  They disregarded him because an incompetent head coach couldn't function with a real football player in house that had command of things.  Cam wouldn't of waited to the end of the season to as politely as possible say we weren't being a real NFL team like Teddy did.   And the funniest part, they ended up bringing Cam back in the end to temporarily save jobs and install the most basic things in house that never were done. 

I mean that is not an example of being right.  Hell, Rhule all but confirmed it was the wrong call.  Learning basics from Cam he could of learned at the jump instead of when he became a dead man walking.

People now wanting to credit Dave is peak huddle.  

You know how bad of a funk this franchise has been in the last several years when the fan base has been rewired to think 5 wins is a beacon for optimism.  We aren't the worst team anymore, break out the bubbly!!!

At this rate we might make the playoffs in 2027 after a decade of futility.  Thanks Tepper, you're the best!

As the game was winding down a few Huddlers commented that it looked as if the Falcons gave up. Don't even know why they didn't go for 2 to win the game? It just felt fishy at the end. I give Bryce and Sanders props for playing to win. Adam Theilan is a Panthers Saint after this season.  I hope they can get the respect they deserve.

But the idea of Goat Bryce is the outlier not the average so there's much to still see. Tepper may eventually find favor on the Huddle and in Panthers fans hearts. But not after a meaningless win.

Coming off a 5 win season absolutely not. Let's see how next year goes. I'm still not sold on any of Morgan, Canales or Bryce. Next year will be a very telling season for all 3. Tepper still sucks until he proves he can hire successful people and not meddle with them. Maybe this current crew winds up successful but only time will tell. I'm definitely not convinced that Tepper won't start meddling if things don't get exactly as planned to start next season.

Absolutely, but while signs are pointing up it's still too early to know Carolina did just that.

With respect to the general question, does he deserve credit for maybe finally getting the f out of the way like he should have done from Day 1? Same standard of proof here... jury's out. Seems like he may have actually gotten something right, but the first half of next season will be much more definitive for everyone IMO. The bar has been raised - can it continue to raise?

OK, hear me out.  If I was rich enough to buy a pro football team, I would be the owner, president, GM, consultant to the head coach, PR representative, Cheerleader inspector, 53rd roster spot, and mascot.  It would take some time for me to slow my roll.  I get it, glad he seems to have.

I think that was the plan--so that is fair.  Bryce's year 3, but year 2 for Morgan and Canales--I have never seen a QB turn it around like Bryce did--but we need to see more before sounding the trumpets.  Bryce's numbers went up and we finished the second half 4-5 with close losses to KC, Philly, and TB.  That is encouraging.
