it took Cam four years to score 5 touchdowns in a game. Bryce also had a QBR greater than 60 in four of the last five games, with three of those being over 80. That is exceptional. 
 

I had been a doubter that his play at Alabam would translate to the NFL. However it’s clear that I was wrong. Bryce has found that movement he needed to break defenders down and that has helped him immensely.

Nick Foles, Mitchell Trubisky, Daniel Jones, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Mark Rypien, Tommy Kramer, Jameis Winston, Matt Flynn, Baker Mayfield, and Sam Darnold all achieved this career best scoring feat.

Last I checked most here believe these QBs weren't good enough to be franchise QBs. Young is not on track to be better than 9 of those 10 QBs.

I'd even argue Matt Flynn would out produce Bryce Young if a team held onto him for 2 to 3 seasons instead of 7 starts.

its clearly not made up.  Its game logs from a handful of starts in a rookie season.   Which was basically a host of games like yesterday from a QB in just part of a season.  Cherry picking and finding good games is what you can do for everyone that eventually plays a lot.  We could add that dude this offseason if we wanted.   Any team could.

He played well but had the lowest pressure rate of his career. Not suprised it was a career game.

Young was 23-of-30 when not under pressure for 237 yards and all 3TDs.”

I wouldn't say very inconsistent anymore - He has been consistently good since our bye, and has been exceptional to above average outside of the DAL game.  Thing is, even if we extend it to overall good play since his benching, it's still less than a season.  But with 21 TDs in 12 starts, certainly promising. But he needs to eliminate games like vs DAL entirely.

Makes it even more impressive when we consider that he accomplished that behind Mays/Zavala rather than Corbett/Hunt. OL and the team as a whole really stepped it up. ATL fans are still grinding their teeth over their defense still not being able to generate a pass rush.

My top barometer on Bryce right now is actually Lady Cowboy Fan.

She's been a very big critic for most of his career to date but watching him over the last several games she's said to me "You guys might just have something there."

That's more encouragement than I've had in a while, so I'll take it

I would.  I mean he was flat out bad in 2 of the last 4.   He wasn’t good directly after the benching.  So it’s still a very cherry picked window defining him and that’s because inconsistent play (which he should be).  Bryce also is hovering around 60% which was good in the prior era, not this one….and was 2nd in the NFL in poor throw % behind Anthony Richardson.  

So we should celebrate his improvement and be glad we have a plan that makes sense for next year.   I’m just not agreeing with riding the wave as far as some.  We know how that works most of the time the NFL when the backing is actually there for some of the talk

I don't think he was bad vs TB - he just wasn't great. He was under constant pressure, we were without any semblance of a supporting run game, and our defense was just bleeding everywhere.
