Anyone got the draft scenarios for this Sunday?

Yep.  Move back if you can--I think we could go S if Starks is there, but I would not draft a S with the needs we have.  I also think your comments about WR are spot on.  I think adding CB Will Johnson might be the move--and I would get it--

Abdul?  Not sold yet.  Graham?  I keep seeing him in Panther blue when I fall asleep when texting while driving.  Odd.

And someone is going to take Jeanty in round 1 and will have a stud RB for a half decade that teams have to game plan around. He is one of about 2-3 top players in this draft.

Using the "inside out, front to back" logic of meeting needs, Graham makes the most sense, but the draft is deep at DT, imo.  If I am the GM (and we all know I should be), I trade back and add a second rounder.

Not many people are talking about Ohio State WR Emeka Egbuka.  He had 900 yards while playing in the shadow of generational talent Jeremiah Smith (1200 yards).  I think he is pretty quiet right now--he suffered some injuries in 2023, but had over 1100 yards in 2022.  If we move back, maybe?

When the patriots beat the bills (which I called like 3 weeks ago), that Cardinals win is going to end up costing us the #1 pick in the draft.

So, general consensus is when we could get third lose we won't drop any further than nine. Correct? 

As much as I'd like to beat the crap out of Atlanta and in their playoff run, there's a big damn difference between three and nine. Anyway you look at it, I'm also a Tampa Bay fan today. It doesn't hurt that they're playing New Orleans. F*** New Orleans

Games with implications w/a loss:

3 win teams (we have lower SOS than both so leap frog if we lose, they win):

Titans vs. Texans - Texans sound to be resting their starters.  Although, unsure if they want to limp into the playoffs.  And Titans could still lose to backups.  But winnable game, they did beat HOU this year before the Texans defense made a turnaround.  

Giants vs. Eagles - Eagles are resting certain starters vs the Giants.  Again, a situation where the Iggles backups could still take care of things.

4 win teams:

Jaguars vs. Colts - I don't know what will happen here.  But both teams are in disarray.  

Jets vs Dolphins - Tua is out but the Dolphins still have a chance at the playoffs with a DEN loss.  Interesting one to watch for since we have the same SOS right now. 

Raiders vs. Chargers - Chargers have playoff seeding on the line, could clean up.  

Bears vs. Packers - Seeding is on the line, Packers are not resting starters.

TL,DR: There's so much going on, I'm just going to split it and say we stay around 6.  There's no particular guy we're missing out on in this draft IMO.  There's no "OMG we have to get him" talent.  I don't think Graham, Johnson, or McMillan are that.  We end up where we end up.  

I wouldn't mind moving up to 5. The two defense guys I would like to see us have a choice on would be Johnson or Graham out of Michigan.

I would be seriously upset if they picked Starks in round one.  Graham did have another first round DT right next to him for whatever that’s worth.  Agree with you on trading back if it brings another 2nd especially if our target is gone

Giants can't move the ball vs. Philly, that looks out of reach.

So...if we lose, still looking at it like this:

NYG aren't winning.

So best case is really 5 if the Jags pull it off.  Likely 6.

If we win, could be 7-9.

Jags are basically it. Every other game went against us so there wasn't much room to move up anyway.

Yea Leggette is not having the rookie year I assumed he would have, but I have the feeling Coker will be the man in Carolina for the next two to 3 years unless we get McMillian, but I see the Panthers needing defense more than a 1st round offensive player this year.

gotta focus on inside out, front to back--so I think we could trade back--if there is a demand.  Looks like we are going around #8.

Its looking like the Jets could win, but the Raiders will likely lose. So that would bump us up from Pick #8 to pick #7
