Who cares. If you can’t find a good player because you’re picking two spots worse you shouldn’t be a GM.

 Culture is far more important.

That's what I've heard several times during late season wins during the Tepper era. Draft capital is real and measurable. Moral victories are fleeting. That's just reality.

And we've seen year after year good teams picking great players late and bad teams taking bad players early.
