Young sailed that ball. Should have rainbowed it like another Bryce jump ball

He can't with pressure in front of him.  That's the reason he likes deep drops so he can get the correct trajectory on the ball.  When he has to get the ball over the head of a 6'3"+ player directly in front of him, he has to angle the ball more upwardly than he would like and thus creates overthrows.

Go back and watch the replay my dude. You're wildly wrong.

Already have my guy.

just pretty ironic how some people on here.

And this ain’t a try to defend Bryce.

but we have had that exact same throw and coverage and it’s wild how different the takes

Bryce has thrown that exact throw and people on here are shouting from the hills. Weak arm, should’ve thrown it in front with more velocity in front and it would’ve been a TD

Now another QB winds up and it’s “how great his arm strength was.”  As he lobs one behind the kneecaps.  And instead of its should’ve been in front.  “Well it’s  the only spot he could fit it.”

I can't speak for what others have said.

The ball was the only place it could be to both give his receiver a chance and navigate the defenders. If you can't see it that's on you.

I know I'm stating the obvious but good lord we need pass rush help. Penix back there just chilling and twiddling his thumbs.

Probably need a high draft pick plus a legit vet starter.

It's the scheme & playcalling. There are players who can get pressure if they're allowed to attack. Just waiting for Atlanta to make mistakes. That's Evero for you.

This is a bad draft to be hunting elite pass rush help, unfortunately.

The safety was a good 3 -4 yards in front.

if he put some velocity on it like your claiming he has.
behind the kneecap with the other DBs right behind him is the exact opposite of the “only place to put it”

that’s called a NFL window.

    • Extremely difficult (damn near impossible) to do a complete front office overhaul in a single offseason. On top of that though - and perhaps more important - you don't want to throw the baby out with the bathwater. Not everybody sucks. (mind you, I do think this last move successfully rid us of one who did)
    • I think it's more related to the difference between proven talent and projected talent. Our proven talent is quite literally almost nonexistent. Our projected talent could be significantly more. Obviously, it remains to be seen how many DJ Moore's we get and how many TMJ's(not making this position specific, just giving examples of clear progression of careers and talent being realized versus not). This could be an exceptionally terrible, underwhelming, okay, fairly decent, surprisingly good, etc roster. All that has to play out on the field because our known entities in terms of above average caliber NFL players is paltry but most standards. All that digital bloviating to basically say, "Show me." As for Tepper, I genuinely don't think he has meddled that much less and I don't think he has stepped back. I think he just cleaned house of most of the people chirping about it internally while not making himself so publicly visible because he is very aware of the meme he has made himself and this franchise. IMO, he will continue to fug this franchise over because that is who he is as a person.
