What's the narrative?? That a QB needs good players around him? Lol

He has a top tier OL, a top 5 RB Theilen has been outstanding, Coker has played well.  It's not as bad as people want to make out, they have been blaming all of Bryces faults on WRs since college.  He has been playing better, but he is still not playing up to the billing that we were sold. Not even close

Diminishing? No Goff is the PERFECT example of why ALL Qbs need help around them it's no coincidence that he's playing at "elite" level when he has talent around him but I guess Bryce doesn't get that same benefit of the doubt

Goff might have won a Super Bowl with the Rams if Brandin Cooks didn't have butterfingers at the worst moment.

Goff has been diminished for years. Is he a great QB? No. Is he one of the better QB's over the last several years even when his supporting cast hasn't been what it is now? Yes. And you can win with and compete for a Super Bowl with that.

The what if scenarios are exhausting at this point and are beyond a dead beaten horse. Bryce will have to make do with what we've got next season which should also include a much needed revamped defensive roster which IMO is more important than surrounding him with elite weapons.

Which team in the NFCS would Theilen be WR1 or Wr2? And Chuba is probably the 3rd best rb in our division behind Kamara and Robinson. I don't think people realize how bad our roster is, and expect Bryce not only compete with other teams but to CARRY this team to success is unrealistic. Chuba a top 5 RB lolol a udfa Coker as a weapon lolol come on people

Does yards per attempt include YAC?

He is 2nd in passing yards 2nd in passing yards per game 4th in TD's 3rd in completion percentage.

Obviously the Lions have a tremendous amount of talent on their roster compared to us but Goff is plainly really good at what he does and he's remained a competitive QB in the past with less and on a different team.

You guys need to realize you aren't even being consistent between takes here because your whole position revolves around you accusing others of unfairly scrutinizing Bryce and what you're doing diminishing others isn't any different or better. You look silly.

what is common practice and used all the time? analyzing a player at an arbitrary point? He looked as bad against Dallas as he did at any point in 2023. Doesn't that obliterate the narrative that he's a changed QB since he was benched?

announcers were harping on him being a "new qb" at halftime of the denver game. that game opened with bryce throwing a 6 down TD pass on a drive where he had 32 whole yards, then went 7/10 for 25 yards across the next four possesion. Managed 1 first down during that, and just like the Tampa Bay game the game was put out of reach.

but that didn't stop the fox announcing crew from reading from the script they'd been handed about how he was a "changed" qb, how he looked "more confident" and was "smiling" or whatever stupid bullshit. I remember howie long couldn't even look at the camera while he said it.

you people are such goddamn marks with this "post benching" nonsense. just proving the easiest way to scam people is to sell them something they desperately want to believe anyway.

First of all, I hope you are doing ok, it might be good for you to step away a little bit.

Again, it is common practice to try different approaches and measures the results. In this case he was benched with the hope it would help him to sit back and watch and learn from Andy. Then you can look at the results post that and measure results. This is a valid approach and not even up for discussion imo.

Now, how you interpret the results is 100% up for discussion.
