Moving the goalpost. Any player can get injured.

He didn’t move the goal posts.  You need to play multiple RBs in every single game you play.   It’s not a backup in reality, it’s part of a RB committee.   You need that in the NFL.

Brooks is a 2nd pick that this team Lit on fire. Dude is useless to this team for another year, unfortunately. A second rounder who won’t even play until year 3? I hope they learned from that.

Restock RB with 4+ rounders. Big mo fos. An O line of goons will make any bruising back look like like a pro bowler. Just need someone to move the chains.

I understand that my friend. Listen carefully, I think we can find a backup RB in FA or sign a undrafted RB.

What is wrong with my option?

I want Tmac and a all defense draft. If we can't get Tmac just go all defense.

RB in the draft comes with higher potential and is likely cheaper.  Especially if he turns out to be good and you want to keep him around.   Money/cap can go to harder to find positions.

position is devalued which makes RBs in that range have higher odds of actually becoming real NFL players vs other spots in that range.  It’s just a good positional bargain in the draft.

We been investing in the RB position for years. Get a undrafted RB. Chuba is the real deal he doesn't need some elite RB to back him up. Just my opinion on the situation.

What if our current backup RB rushes for 100 yards Sunday? I mean we writing him off after 1 bad game.

    • Could not believe that I could not find a "Black Monday" thread except the one about Mayo.  I have some dirt that I love because I hate New Orleans--they stole our basketball team, they give us hurricanes, and they are stupid. And from Google Earth, New Orleans looks like the nation's twat.  For reference, Tampa Bay is just as bad about the hurricanes, but they did not steal our basketball team and they are more like a venereal wart on the nation's penis--big difference.  Sorry for the offensive metaphors--had to be said. Now more facts with commentary: Mayo out in New England.  While he was never a coordinator, could he be a candidate for the DC job here? Vrabel to interview in New England.  This is very significant because before the Mayo firing, Vrabel was considered an option in New Orleans.  They wanted him BAAAD. Jaguars fire Pederson.  He deserved it. Giants to keep head coach (Daboll) and GM (Schoen) Bengals fire Defensive Coordinator (Amarumo).
    • Given that we held him hostage this year I dont think they are going to fire him and besmirch his rep
