Jaycee Horn to the Pro Bowl

Recommended Posts

Play him next year to prove he can stay healthy before an extension. Either he is worth franchise money or he isn't, if he can stay healthy 1 more year than this year wasn't the fluke from a health perspective.

I'd also love to see him with a better DC. Curious what a Saleh could do with him.

I'd like to see him travel before I paid him.  He takes way too many snaps on meh WRs. In all honesty, the only game I can really recall him really on top notch WR most of a game (that also had good QB play)....Horn was really not that good.  Mahomes/Hopkins had him looking bad.

That's part of why I said I would like to see him with a better DC. I haven't been impressed with Evero or his scheme since he came here.

I still think this place underrates him.

I think we saw his value this past Sunday against the Bucs, Mayfield torched us for 5 TDs without him. We always critique our own players but when they are gone or injured, it definitely shows on the field. This is why we have such a depleted roster, we don't keep the talent that we do have. Some huddlers critique giving Chuba that contract but look how our offense stalled without him.

They do because he gets no credit when the QB does not throw his direction because he is feared.

I like both our CBs and hope we keep Jackson.

    • They reached for Pickett, so they are not immune to it.  I could see that as well.  I just think the Colts are flying under the radar and they have been too quiet concerning their QB situation--of course, they could think Jones is their guy (they had a good one named Jones a long time ago) but I think they are done with the Richardson experiment.   Even if I believed in Jones, I would still draft a QB--I also read one mock that said the Jets would take Sanders if he falls to 7---I disagree, but I was once wrong and it still bothers me.
    • I just switched to prime video with fanduel south. Will I be able to watch the Canes playoff games still?
    • I mean, you can use that "logic," but the problem is that most practice squad players, backups or average guys don't put the play on film that Wharton did when given their opportunities.  Perhaps you'll end up right, but I don't think that just because a guy has been in a rotation makes him inherently less productive because he gets more snaps. I will say that the KC fans I've seen on social media loved him, and considered him their second best DT,  regardless of his "rotational" status, and generally considered him a dawg, so I'm going to give him the benefit of doubt until he shows otherwise.
