BREAKING: Panthers will have Miles Sanders back at practice this week

The team also signed veteran defensive end DeShawn Williams from the practice squad and placed outside linebacker Amaré Barno on injured reserve.

The team added outside linebackers Thomas Incoom and Kenny Dyson from the practice squad by standard elevation to add depth there.

They were down to three on the active roster, with Barno ruled out and DJ Johnson placed on the reserve/non-football injury list on Friday.

What’s up with Johnson?  Reserve/non-football injury?

And there's an outside chance he's back next year with Brooks hurt and the fact we won't save much by cutting him.

I still think it's more likely than not Sanders isn't on the team next year but with the Brooks injury and the fact that neither Blackshear nor Boone looked adequate, it is a possibility.

I'll be a man and say Miles Sanders made me eat crow at least for today. Still not sure he has a future here, but a great ending to his time here if he's gone.

Sanders had his best game as a Panther today - 2 TDs, 115 total yards.  Probably his last as a Panther but he was a big contributor
