I mean, Sam Darnold did dumb things.  And he would do them often after doing good things.  Sometimes awesome things.   Most of his career.  Think a lot of that has to do w/ not having good coaching or with a good org (Jets/Panthers).

Just seems like they have figured out how to remove the dumb.  Sam Darnold as most have always said, was a super physically talented football player.  He potentially could of pursued other positions he had so much talent. Which we don't have right now.  The Darnold and Young critiques don't run that similar.  Most of Sam's critiques were about his decision making.  Most of Youngs are about his physical tools.  Basically polar opposites that simply have being criticized in common.

First Vikings game you watched this year?

Sam has been very lucky on many occasions this season. Once the play breaks down Sam has done a lot of Sam things this season but having KOC, Jefferson and Addison help a lot

It’s almost like having WR’s and coach matters or something

Ultimately I think there's a good chance sooner or later we are going to see the full spectrum of both Mayfield and Darnold in the playoffs against much tougher competition. That is the good the bad and the ugly.

Baker will be Baker.  The pros and cons of a gambling gunslinger.

Sam Darnold will go as Justin Jefferson goes.  Not sure there is really a corner in the present day NFL that can actually take out anyone.

Oh, I have seen bonehead Sam this year get lucky.  That hasn't been completely erased.  He is still clearly inside fighting to show himself to the world.  Luck matters too.  The ball certainly has bounced Sam's way often this year and the masses probably think he is better than he is right now.

A game that got their DC fired. In 2023 they were a bottom five unit.

this year they’re a much better unit. Going into yesterday.

So they're roughly middle of the pack in passing but have a really good run D and they're opportunistic with turnovers.

They've improved from last season no doubt but they have also given up a lot of points to both the Lions and Vikings this season both of which have formidable passing offenses. Yeah they're going to have their hands full in the playoffs.

Who’s going to? We’re talking about darnold doing what he did yesterday against one of the best defenses in the nfc, not how the Vikings defense is going to do in the playoffs.

Take your adderall try to stay focused please.

You specifically brought up the Packers defense. The post I made in response was entirely about the Packers defense. I have no clue where you're getting anything about the Vikings defense.

If you're a Darnold believer good for you. Might as well pull a CamWhoaaCam and shamelessly hop on the bandwagon.

You have no posting history to look back on through literally years of suckage but you want to be indignant toward others. I see nothing but a coward but you do you.

Clearly, you can’t see very well. This thread provides another litany of examples.
