XL had the coverage best deep, the ball was just badly underthrown. It is what it is.

I’m aware we haven’t had any in quite some time, but decent receivers in the NFL make that play routinely. At minimum, they attack the ball instead of trying to catch it by their knees.

That was not a back shoulder throw. XL was behind the coverage. You throw back shoulder when the DB is over the top or running step for step. I shouldn't have to explain this to someone who has been watching football dating back to the Delhomme/Smitty days.
