Hot Take: This team will never get over the hump, until we move on from Bryce.

We already have seen what he looks like without a running game against the Cowboys. He was awful.

I don't think he's the answer. I'm actually pretty darned convinced that he's not. But there's two more games left and he's gonna have to carry the offense so let's see it. Here's his chance to prove it.

You think Bryce is an elite QB? Lol.  It was a general statement, if I were a GM building a team with limited cap resources and I could either afford an elite QB and average WRs or pay two elite WRs and a top slot guy and get a middle of the road QB, I'm taking the first proposition every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

No he’s not an elite QB but to act like some “elite” QB would elevate this group of receivers is just lunacy. You would see marginal improvement and still not win more than 5-6 games with this roster. You all salivated over Caleb who has a top 5 receiving core and he can’t win more than 4 games.  I am sick of fans  thirsting over other team’s elite QBs and not giving a chance to build a team and stop being the laughing stock of the NFL.

Darnold was better than Bryce the entire time, he just had to deal with Matt Rhule.

Shanahan and O'Connell proved that I think.

Dude was throwing picks into triple coverage when he was here. More raw physical talent for sure. He just needed a coach who could fix his decision making.

What makes this a big game for Bryce Young. The Panthers quarterback is winless in 11 career road starts, the 5th-longest road losing streak by a starting quarterback to start their career in NFL history.

But we want Bryce to prove he can win but not win so we don’t ruin our draft spot lmao

I didn't salivate over Caleb Williams. I said he was a bust waiting to happen.

Mahomes also throws TDs with ease and averages 20+ a season where Bryce can barely throw 15.
His “rookie” year he threw 50. Stop comparing Bryce to one of the best QBs in the NFL. He is Bridgewater at best. Meaning he will never be the reason we are successful and will always need the perfect team around him to have any modicum of success.

Lol I know your bagging on Bryce but your also selling PM criminally short he averages 35td throws a year.... that's closer to double 20 than it is 20.

We heavily hamstrung our ability to build a team by trading a ton of draft capital and a legit starting WR to draft Bryce.

He hasn't won a game on the road yet? I guess I haven't noticed but damn.

Honestly I think this works out great where we are. Bryce gets another year with out us over drafting a qb this year. If he sucks next year, we will be in great position in a stronger class. If he is the answer then we aren't picking next year.

There are very few elite QBs. You need a great overall team to win in the playoffs and win the superbowl. You need to continue to build a great team and hope your QB develops or that you stumble in to one. “Chasing” an elite QB at the cost of the team gets you nowhere. I have serious doubts Bryce will get us where we want to be (hopefully I’m wrong), but we need to build our team next year and give Bryce one more year to see what he can do.
