He has a WR opposite him that has a legit shot at the triple crown this season.  He is definitely good but a #1 is a stretch at the price tag

I'm 50/50 on Higgins. On one hand he's better than anyone we have; on the other, he's sure to be overpaid.

He would be our #1 cap hit more than likely.  I don’t know if we can get out of that ridiculous Taylor Moton cap hit but he would definitely eat a bunch of cap and he would want multiple years.  No thanks.  He is a #2 WR.  A WR.  Not for me

I'm torn on him. Granted we need a legit number 1 wr but we are just there yet. If the defense was a top 10 unit I might could go along with it. I think the prudent thing to do is look to the draft for a sure handed speedster in the later rounds this year and focus on the defense. We can revist this after next season to see where we are cap wise and maybe look at who's available in FA next year.

Id be good with signing him and then throwing everything else at the defense next season

The way I look at is we can focus on defense in the draft and sign your top receiver. We can’t afford to go into next year with big question marks with XL and Coker who still need time to develop
