I think everyone except Evero has been given a nod of confidence for next season. If I was Evero, I would be nervous. Tepper hasn't fired anyone in about 13 months so I'm sure he's itching.

The draft never goes how you think it will. A player that can improve the Panthers will be available when they pick 1-3 rounds. This FO just has to stop trying to be smarter than everyone else. Pick the best player and improve the roster. Team needs playmakers and linemen. That's every position.

Yes, at the end of the day, once players are on the field, they're playing and showing up.  NFL is difficult to orchestrate an intentional losing effort from 25ish guys getting the snaps.  But poorly coached teams aren't suddenly better than the best teams backups. They still suck.

wow so No. 2 Overall is still technically in play, while the worst we could pick with a win would be 10th, currently 6th. Big week next week.

Take a look at our top WRs aside from XL--who arguably is our fourth best WR right now:  AT (undrafted), Coker (undrafted), and Moore (7th round).    You build from the inside out, back to front.  I think we can get a TE, RB, and maybe even a WR on day 3 of the draft.  I think we should leave days 1 and 2 with a top edge, DT, and MLB (not a Jewell fan, and if we go 4-3...)

I would also need to evaluate Center but Mays has been OK and should improve.  Some are arguing that we need a #1 WR, and rightly so, but XL, Coker, etc. will improve. Add some people who can catch and get open--they are not #1 WR out of college--they are #1 candidates.  Fill the stall and let the fastest horse race.

Yep. I posted earlier that we don't need a top WR. We need a type. Size is not as important as speed, hands and quickness.

From what I read, I am not seeing that.  We don't think WR is the top priority in the draft--

Yeah, the nice thing is that even if Atlanta loses, they still can win the division and won’t rest against us.
