Am I the only one who sees the light at the end of the tunnel?

This is truly one of the most retarded takes I've ever seen. Young has underachieved (other than the last couple months) but you don't even look at the numbers when you throw out crap like this.

Josh Rosen's best QB rating ever was 88.9 in a 30-10 loss. Young's surpassed that twice in the last month. Hell, Rosen's career QB rating is low 60s -- a hell of a lot lower than Young's mid-70s rating.

Now, Young will play like crap the last two games in large part because he has no weapons, no run game, absolutely no defense and a crap OL, but he'll be expected to be 1984 Dan Marino by the people who consider him 2019 Josh Rosen. Makes no sense.

Kinda like those comparisons.

I didn't say he was Rosen. I said he was at that level for first round QBs. I see you couldn't determine his level given his stats.

I never said I have Marino expectations for him. I would never expect him to reach that level. I clearly stated Ryan Fitzpatrick & Fitzy was better in the stat department (1 100+ rating out of every 4 starts compared to BY 1 100+ rating out of every 10 starts). You should be happy I see future improvement in Young. Are you not happy with having a Ryan Fitzpatrick type QB?

Calm down. Rosen & Young are both bottom of the league below 75 ratings in their starts. Young is the better of the worst 1st round QBs between the 2. Care to list the short list of sub 75 rated 1st round QBs in their starts?

I'm guessing it looks at least a little better than you expect....

I love chuba but the offensive line is our best weapon.

That's valid. I'm hoping to see a solid day from Mike Boone.

Depending on what time we get home tonight! Where's @mrcompletely11 been?

That's a good question. We'll have to be sure to ask him.

I'm not even speaking on numbers I'm asking who has the worst TALENT level at the receiving position

Exactly

Off the top of my head (and not counting injury situations like the Saints who are in a bad situation without Olave and Shaheed), only the Patriots, Browns, and Raiders come close to us in having a lack of WR talent, pretty sure that's the clear bottom 4 group of teams for WR talent (and the Raiders/Browns at least have Bowers/Njoku respectively)

I mean we went from having absolutely no hope and the laughing stock of the NFL. Now as we are heading into the New Year people on Nat'l TV are actually talking about Bryce and his improvement as a QB. For a team with a limited roster we have been very competitive against playoff caliber teams since Bryce has came back from the benching.

Now you look at the division and you can't really say there is a dominant team in the division. I think there is a realistic chance we can compete and win this division as early as next season if we can improve the defense in FA and the draft. Bryce could very well be the best QB in this division when all is said and done.

Lastly David Tepper. I don't know what happened, but the dude disappeared. He's staying out of the way. Props to him for being a normal owner for a change.

I'm excited about the future of this team. I think the fanbase should be as well.

Thoughts?

it will be fun either way. If we suck we laugh, if we are good then we enjoy.
