Am I the only one who sees the light at the end of the tunnel?

I mean we went from having absolutely no hope and the laughing stock of the NFL. Now as we are heading into the New Year people on Nat'l TV are actually talking about Bryce and his improvement as a QB. For a team with a limited roster we have been very competitive against playoff caliber teams since Bryce has came back from the benching.

Now you look at the division and you can't really say there is a dominant team in the division. I think there is a realistic chance we can compete and win this division as early as next season if we can improve the defense in FA and the draft. Bryce could very well be the best QB in this division when all is said and done.

Lastly David Tepper. I don't know what happened, but the dude disappeared. He's staying out of the way. Props to him for being a normal owner for a change.

I'm excited about the future of this team. I think the fanbase should be as well.

Thoughts?

Why would that affect your outlook on our future? He’s obviously a huge part of it.

Because sooner or later the first overall pick we traded a haul to select is going to have to be able to overcome adverse circumstances maybe?

I think we as fans just have to let that trade go. It wasn’t a good trade and yes we overpaid. It’s already done though. Hopefully Bryce can become our franchise QB but it really helps if you just accept it was a bad trade and move on IMO.

Of course. Still shouldn’t significantly change the standard of what we expect from the pick though. But the Bears being a top to bottom dumpster fire has certainly been a welcome sight.

Oh, I see the light but I don't think it will be an instant trip to the playoffs next year.  It would be nice to see that much improvement.  We have more problems and needs than just Young.  I'll make a better assessment as next year's play comes to fruition.

I’m hopeful, but also have to have a crazy good off-season. Fingers crossed Tillis can work some cap magic. We need to upgrade half our defense in one offseason and hope these rookies on offense can keep progressing. Also an upgrade at center could be had.
