I don't hold this against Evero. Coaches aren't scouts. If the DC loves a prospect that's projected as a 7th rounder or UDFA, you don't trade up to pick him in the 3rd. That fault lies with the front office for being morons. -

I started coming around on Carter but after really watching him the past few games I am still like fug that as a top 5ish pick. Too many brian burns vibes and not as big as him -

Dave spent a lot of time and energy trying to get Evero on board this season; he could have easily left. I think that effort alone deserves some commitment. That being said, this defense is performing poorly, and I wouldn't be shocked if Evero were to get fired.
