Guys are players just aren’t good. @Anybodyhomemade a post this week about it. We replaced studs with duds playing money ball and it didn’t work. DUMBdons cheap ass won’t pay for a goalie.

We've seen enough of Kooch to know he is too widely inconsistent to be an everyday goalie, and what's up with all our studs - they look like duds.

Unfortunately this is true.  We often get “goalied” and that carries over to scoring and motivation.  Tonight, canes are getting goalied and koochie can’t stop a cold. Goalie is this team’s problem. 
 

btw, we don’t even have a hat trick this year.

A couple trades are indeed necessary. Unfortunately, the best trade bait the Canes have in terms of contracts are the best players on the team right now- Roslovic, Robinson, Walker...

I’m going to throw a name out there because of who is coming…. Orlov played lazy ass hockey tonight. Played lazy all year.  Trade him and prep for Nikishin.   
 

also, how much could we get for KK?  We need a goalie horrendously bad.

The Orlov- Chatfield tandem is one of the highest ranked defensive pairs in the league right now. 

KK's contract prohibits moving him unless the Canes retain 50% or more.

Maybe landing a UFA goalie at the TDL with prospects and draft picks...

I just don't get it - Aho, Svech, Necas and Jarvy all craping the bed at the same time - that's got to be on the coaching. We all hoped Kooch would develop into the goalie of the future but I have serious doubts about that. And that stupid revenge move offer sheet to KK that caused us to part ways with Trocheck was the worst blunder of all.
