I would say you gotta add an "if" to XL. For brooks we can't say oh TD came back from 3 ACL injuries, brooks can do it. It just isn't that easy. Especially if we select a running back late this draft with it being s deep RB class. He won't play much in 2025 if he even plays at all, tough road ahead but i hope he comes back and proves the pick right. right now though unfortunately our first and second round picks don't seem to be trending in the right direction. Brooks more than XL, but XL still has a lot to prove. Hasn't had the best year, though his route running is somewhat better than expected. He is still raw and we knew that prior to the draft. -

I call bullshit. Brady,Manning,Brees and Burrow are all just ball distributors. And the better thier supporting cast and more experience they got the better they got. Thier best attributes were between the ears. Now I'm not saying Bryce is gonna turn into one of them but what I want is for him. Is to have a solid roster around him and some coaching continuity too see if he takes the next step. Because everything I've seen and read after the benching is that his mental toughness and workethic are what we need in a QB
