Time running out on WR

Wonder if dallas is interested in trading Roy Williams? Saw a Mock that had them taking Golden Tate in first round

pretty sure we are going for draft only.. any FA acquision would have only made sense before the good WRs went off the market.. spending draft picks on average to bad WRs means the FO needs shot due to their lack of intelligence.

You obviously miss Fox and Hurney's master plan. Create a time machine and go back and play in 1967. Apparently they think like the internet that passing is just a fad in the NFL. I actually wouldn't be shocked to see us not take a WR till round 6 in the draft. You want the bad news, we whiff on WR again; and the season is locked out in 2011, Smitty is an quickly an old guy and we still don't have any WR to step up. The FO's lack of interest in fixing the WR position frankly borders on malpractice.

Williams could be good as a #2 next to Smith, but doubt Dallas would let him go for a 6th rounder since they gave up so much to get him. he doesn't fit in well in dallas though

I doubt we would use him any better.. after all, we only need/use 1 WR.. our running game can't be shut down!!11!1!

I don't see how this is arguable..

maybe they think Jarrett teamed up with Moore is the answer and that Jake was the real problem for finding a #2?

Or, they don't care, saving money and could careless if we tank next season. Then they would have high draft pick, might get lucky and get Mallet and rebuild from there.

I'd say the front office's interest in and effectiveness in fixing the WR position are two different things altogether.

They've made efforts to bring others in -- they just haven't worked out very well.

they have drafted 2 WR's in the early rounds.. I don't think that shows much interest.

They have brought in old receivers at the end of their career. That doesn't tell me much either.

as for effectiveness... no doubt, we suck at drafting WRs.. so when our philosophy is to build through the draft and fill holes in FA.. you go out into FA and bring in a WR..

why we haven't done that is beyond me... and to think us going for vets at the end of their career is a good answer, well, is not..

wE HaVEN'T GotTeN A WR sO WE PROBAlY Aren';t GETTinG ONE EVERRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's out there and I saw him, he super-sized my combo. He was a little slow but runs a good route and knew where he needed to be at all times. And I think one day would make a good team leader.
