true, but it's a tough reality to accept often that it's all we can ask for....from the #1 overall pick, we gave up the farm for, in year 2.

I don’t disagree with you, but we gave up the farm to get a starting QB and Bryce is starting to show signs that he can be that guy. Yeah, we gave up a ton and Bryce still has a long way to go, but he is improving and I’m excited about that.

If it takes him 3-4 years to fully develop, so be it. That’s better than him being a bust and the team having to start over at QB.

You seem to be forgetting the talent he was working with last year lol. They showed the graphic of the weapons Bryce had last year and what they've done this year and it's PATHETIC!! I understand ya'll want Bryce to walk on water b4 ya'll give him props but atleast give him NFL caliber talent before you criticize him

If you watched the games last year you'd know Bryce was as atrocious as the players around him were.  It was a total poo show of a season. That's why we went into this year investing so much into offense for him.

I watched it last season and tbh I didn't get the impression that he was as dog poo as the guys surrounding him. As the season went on and the effects of throwing to WRs that couldn't get open and catch it behind an OL that couldn't block on poorly designed + called offensive plays became more obvious it made it really really difficult to write him off for me.

His first two games to start this season? Totally on him. No argument there, that was the first time I saw Bryce be as bad as his haters say he is. Since returning from the benching though? He's what he looked like at Bama.

Now to keep building the rest of the team around him! If his progress doesn't continue, then he gets replaced in a year or two. If it does, then the rest of the holes get to be patched. Yaye!

There's really no point in getting worked up about Bryce.  We're not getting a top 2-3 pick to take a QB.  We'll probably sign someone in FA and/or draft someone late.  Bryce will most likely be the guy going into next season again while we continue to build the roster.

I don't see the point in getting attached to this guy, but I also don't see the point in arguing whether or not he's any good.  That decision doesn't have to be made now, and it won't be.  He'll get next year and our FO will have more information.

People who talk the most about this subject here are dug in one way or another there's no use continuing to drone on about this on repeat heading into the offseason because he is going to be here regardless with another shot in 2025 to solidify himself. In the meantime he had a really good game against a mostly meh team with fringe playoff hopes that even if they got in most likely would have lost the week after getting pummeled by a beat up Cowboys team.

Basically we're right back where we started. We've seen the good. We've seen the bad. We've seen the really good. We've seen the really bad. No one no matter how many posts they make can say what his final form will be. We just have to wait and see. And hopefully the front office makes changes to this QB room that will serve to make Bryce even better hopefully. And if not then that sucks but we will have options. That's all that really needs to be said anymore. No need to continue blasting one another.

I said this before but I've felt since the Eagles game we've been having trouble with our intermediate/deep passing game, where it was one of his stronger areas vs KC and TB.  I don't know if this is the schemes we've faced or if it's Bryce, but I saw several times he didn't seem to throw to open guys. Maybe on the film those guys weren't actually so open.

His PFF grade is a little higher than I expected but not too much. It's deliberated calculated without regard to things like how failing to ice a game sends it to OT.

Hoping the last couple games bring consistency.  It's great having a QB that can get into the 90s in any kinda stat. As long as he keeps that Dallas game an anomaly since his return, it'll be a solid finish.

Statistically, the deep game vs Philly would have been a little better had Leggette held on to the pass on the last drive.

Maybe "as bad as" Mingo is unfair to Bryce but "also terrible" still applies haha. Either way, it was an awful situation for any young player at any position, let alone QB. Now we've got a promising end of season that we can build on if we take care of business and keep improving the last two weeks.

I agree on the progress timeline. I'm not saying he won't progress at all either. There's been some real promising work by Bryce the last few weeks. I just want to see that continue. I like competition so I hope Canales finds a couple of guys he thinks can push Bryce without investing too much and we build D heavily this offseason.
