Tougher than Mahomes at least.  Taking hits and smiling instead of whining and complaining to the refs 😉

that lil guy had me so nervous when he was running for the first down and went shoulder/head first instead of sliding and cutting it close.

Me too, shouldn't be trucking people with his throwing shoulder but it shows he's got that competitive fire in him.

Bryce Young's in-game PFF grades:

73.9 Rushing

93.3 Passing

93.5 Overall Grade

the gameplan was very QB friendly.    That aspect has a lot to do w/ the odds of ending up w/ a good grade.   Heavy run w/ a safe/conservative pass plan.

This should be fun to read later today

Wait until all the Bryce haters wake up haha

Bryce would have been a perfect score yesterday if not for a couple of throws.  One was not throwing it to Thielen in the middle of the field and the 3rd and 2 on the last drive of regulation.  He rushed that throw and needs to set his feet and complete it.

He still has a long way to go to reach his potential, needs to get more consistent but yesterday was a great way to bounce back from 4 turnovers last week.

3 TDs, 0 turnovers, 226 total yards.  Solid day.

This is true, but he did his job within the framework that's all you can ask for.  The gameplan worked

true, but it's a tough reality to accept often that it's all we can ask for....from the #1 overall pick, we gave up the farm for, in year 2.

Bryce Young was the highest graded player for the Panthers against the Cardinals per PFF with a grade of 93.0

4 big time throws (a pass w/ excellent ball location and timing, generally thrown further down the field and/or into a tighter window)

0 turnover-worthy throws

Once you can forget what we gave up for him and just look at him for what he is you start to appreciate what he can be and that he gives the team a chance to win.

Was he worth the trade? No.

Can he still help the team win and be the franchise QB?  I think Yes.

He's shown he has the ability in moments to be more than just a "game manager".  He made some big time plays yesterday and over the last few week.  If he can do that consistently for 4 quarters, he becomes a true difference maker.

I mean, that is the definition of a safe gameplan coupled w/ Hubbard.  It's all check downs or throws to the outside and away from coverage.

    • I’m old. This season feels like 3 wrapped up in one. I didn’t look.  I just remembered the recent Giants, Panthers, Raiders, etc stuff.
    • Diontae Johnson is a different type of malcontent. He was well known for not practicing at all if he had the slightest injury in Pittsburgh. And that’s from an organization with a strong culture, contrast that with Wilson who has been saddled with an organization that literally makes decisions based on the owners teenage sons and madden rankings. I’m not saying we need to trade the farm for him, just saying that he is not Diontae Johnson.
    • Oh for sure... bitching and dumb takes on a message board makes you a superior fan... how could I not see that?? Thank you for this Christmas miracle for showing me the error of my way. I'll be sure to email Tepper and tell him I've discovered the secret to fandom... Any other financial secrets you care to share with us dumb PSL owners since you are evidently the Oracle of wisdom now? Get it in now bc I'm only wasting one more response on this stupidity...
