I don’t know of any coach that would look great with this front 7. Until you bring in talent they will continue to be a non issue.

Start with better then worry about great after you achieve good.

Without investing in the defensive line the results are going to be the same every week. I don’t think you can coach around that.

I don’t blame that on Evero. I won’t be surprised if he leaves or he’s fired as a scapegoat but I can’t really judge the defense or coaching when the front 7 is this weak.

Ron seems like a good guy but man he is mid as a coach.

it's the overpromotion factor in play.  Every great QB coach isn't supposed to be a great OC.  Every great OC isn't supposed to be a great HC.

Ron Rivera was a very good DC in the NFL.

Actually blitzing and sending 5 guys through the gaps is what you do when you want to hide deficits and have backups playing key roles. You don't send 4 and sit back in a prevent zone like we do. We give up more points in the last 2 minutes of a half than any team in the league. That is scheme not personnel. I want a Baltimore style scheme if we keep playing a 3-4.

Yea I'm so tired of these soft zones and our most aggressive blitzes being a delayed 5th man.  He has mixed it up a tiny bit more the past week or two with an immediate cb or safety blitz but still only ever sends 5 at most.

    • I would not trade Coker, a UDFA, for Harrison, a top/five pick.
    • Tell us you don't watch much Chiefs football without saying you don't watch much Chiefs football... I live in KC and have watched a lot of their season. Their offense has been very middling much of the year and is coming around right when the defense has started flagging. They still haven't scored more than 30 in a game. They are winning, yes, and that is what good team do, but man is it ugly.
    • I've posted this in another thread but I will repeat it here. The sooner you accept that Bryce will be your QB1 for the next 10 or so years the better off you'll be. No matter how much crying you do on this forum isn't going to change that fact lol. There are SEVERAL positions that need upgrading before you get to the QB position. And for everyone calling him a "game manager" imma let you in on a little secret.....95% of the QBs in the NFL are game managers with maybe 3-4 game changers (Lamar Allen Pat and MAYBE Burrow) So the chances of finding a player like that is slim to NONE. We will continue to build this team with Bryce as the QB whether you like it or not.
