Brady and Mahomes are just anomalies amongst the great QBs

Brady has more rings than Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Marino, and on and on combined…..not because he is in a different league than them but the teams he was on were vs theirs.  Better coaching, defense, etc.

That's the winning formula.

We can't expect Bryce Young to be better than the other bottom 10 QBs with their offensive weapons? Young needs a SB offense before he can put up average numbers?

Cooper Rush, Drake Maye, Trevor Lawrence, Derek Carr, Jameis Winston, and even Anthony Richardson are all upgrades.

Young is barely treading water in the league, and there are going to be 2 to 3 QBs in the 2025 draft that will surpass Young by midseason.

2 more seasons of this subpar nonsense and excuse making for Young is what I'm expecting. Canales likely won't survive Young.

The Panthers could go with Cooper Rush, Carson Wentz and Jimmy Garoppolo for their QB room in 2025, and the Panthers offense will regularly put up 30 points while performing at a higher level in the clutch.

Canales with a healthy Thielen, Coker, XL, Moore, J.Sanders, Hubbard, and Brooks can get the team to the playoffs with the above QB room. Not with Bryce Young. Sorry, but Young is the one holding back the offense, and he's the easiest piece to improve on with the greatest return.

Young isn't great but nor are basically any of the dudes you highlighted... I mean... Wentz? Garopollo? This isn't 2017...

This offense put up 36 with BY, lol. We need a competition in our QB room but let's not be nutty here.

Agreed. I’m not saying he’s the future or if I’d even hit him with the 5th year but if he can play like today and us just run the ball like this and make a few upgrades on defense our record will be much better. I’ll reiterate I’m not sold on him being the man but with what’s out there for next year hard not to see him as the man next year.

That's the entire point with the correction of saying Bryce Young isn't even average for the league. Young won't approach the success level of those QBs. They're more consistent & reliable. Andy Reid and Sean McVay are not going to add Bryce Young to their rosters as a #2 if he's available.

It's extremely easy to upgrade the QB position for the Panthers. Greatest improvement compared to any other offensive position.

If only he didn't fumble in ot, drop that td pass, miss those fg, and play better defense

Cooper rush? Derek carr?

Pretty sure that’s a borderline troll account. He has some spill about wanting us to draft Glass at QB several years ago and sign some UFL coach. He has been hating on the Panthers ever since…

I've seen many posters on here saying Bryce needs elite players at every position to be good in the NFL, how about we give him AVERAGE NFL skill position players and see what he does. Our skill players are below average, we haven't played a team ALL SEASON where we had the best WR on the field and most of those teams their WR2 would be our WR1. But we wanna say Bryce needs the best smh. We put up 36 points on a good defense today with Bryce being responsible for 3 TD's but we're still having this conversation over and over.

You apparently don't pay attention to key QB metrics and you're just hoping for the team to be perfect for Young to but up a below average record.

You realize the Cowboys & Saints are doing exactly what you're making excuses for regarding Young? Carr lost to the Panthers with the Saints defense gifting the Panthers a rushing TD drive in 4Q and a dropped pass when all they needed was a FG.

Hold Young accountable for being at the bottom of his position. Your excuses for Young apply to the other QBs too. Young isn't earning his way and improvement to Minshew or Levis levels is nothing to qualify a QB as a franchise QB.

Ultimately, the question for this season regarding Bryce Young was whether we should continue building around him or go in a different direction.

Far as I can tell, all signs points to the former. Given how poor the upcoming QB draft class is and all the holes in the roster that are in desperate need of filling, this is the best case scenario for us. Do we want him to take more steps forward next season? Of course, but this is a guy who basically pulled himself out of complete bust territory after the second game of the season to earning the respect of not just his teammates and head coach but even his fellow competitors via his play. When someone is capable of doing something like that, he's earned the right to continue getting the chance to prove he can be more than we think he can be.

One of the biggest stats I am somewhat concerned about is Bryce struggling to throw TDs. It will be hard to be successful with a QB that throws less than 20 TDs a season. Heck Bryce struggles to throw 15. I wondered how many multi-TD games he has and he had 3. Last one before this being the Packers game.
Can’t ever see this team being a contender if Bryce is throwing 15-18 TDs a season.

All I am looking for next year is more consistent offense. Consistent 200+ yard games and multi-TD games. I hope he can get to 20+ TD.
