You can quote drop percentage but what i see is the WRs keep dropping TD passes and deep balls. You can talk scheme but until we stop trotting JAGs out at WR who really knows what any of this offense is capable of.

I'd say the same thing if we traded Bryce in the offseason and went in a different direction

I think defenses have been sitting on our pass game since early last season.  While we need some improved weapons….if your playcaller and QB can’t and don’t back a team off….life is just hard.

I don’t think Tepper from day 1 has ever had a vision for Bryce.  Frank nor Dave really are the creative types needed for a Bryce.  Every O Canales has been around has featured a chunk ball gambler downfield.

They sit on our pass game because our best receiver is a mid 30 year old  Adam Thielen. Even if we had Josh Allen what make other teams play off?

Its also because I don't think they are scared of his arm. He throws a moon ball and most of those throws are under thrown, that's why he needs his "super power" anticipation.

It plays apart for sure but I also seen him uncork a lot at Alabama to JWill because he's a true deep threat

Even if you cherry pick Bryce post benching and ignore everything else and project it out over a full season…..

there is no statistical argument Kyler has ever been worse even cheating the argument toward Bryce post benching

I’m no Murray fan as I agree he is more athlete than QB.   And I’m open to Bryce improving and support us continuing to develop him as this point.   But just being an athlete, Murray has been better overall to date

Disagree.

Murray's going nowhere fast. Bryce still at least has potential.

Yeah, but the stats and production I referenced is just a statement of fact.  Bryce isn’t on that level of production yet.  Even cherry picked in his favor.

and arguing future potential going forward from today between the 2 is a different conversation entirely

if trying to win a game today, Kyler is the easy answer because his ceiling as a playmaker is substantially higher because his tools are better for this level.

Bryce already beat that bum with a lesser team. You can have Kyler.

I'm sticking with my QB. It's what Panthers fans do...

Don't care about stats. Football has always had too many variables for statistical analysis to be a go-to approach.

As far as tools, maybe his physical tools...or if you're talking about winning at Call of Duty rather than pro football.

Yeah, Kyler and Bryce never share a field together.  The Panthers did beat Cardinals.

Cam Newton wasn’t a better overall QB than Tom Brady despite his teams beating the Patriots.  That’s never been how it works.

it’s not about being a Panther fan if you are just supposed to be having a discussion of where 2 random QBs stack up today

I mean there is no maybe.  Murray has much better pure physical tools than Young.  Even suggesting it’s close is just silliness.

which is why Murray has consistently one man showed it to much higher offensive production than even the cherry picked Bryce numbers

people way too in their feelings over their QB (insert TO gif if that’s my QB)

Im telling you Bryce is better. He has a lesser roster. If they switched teams the Cardinals are in the playoffs.

    • We've gotta quit thumping this narrative as factual given who did or didnt suit up. Thats the reality of non CFP bowl season. Portal,Coaches gone, players not playing or quitting mid game.  It's just not realistic. If you cheer for a conference knock yourself out. But what a team did week 1-12 has maybe even less than zero to do with a bowl game.
    • This makes sense but they are rewarding the conference champions which I agree with personally.  Regardless of format you are going to see blowouts.   I would keep it like this and if you are a bubble top 12 team and don't make it too bad.  It hasn't proven out any of those teams belonged
    • Huh? Clemson to date has given a winner a better run at it than anyone else.  Also they happened to do things to that Texas D no one, not a single SEC team, has done all season.  Clemson basically is the one loser that wasn’t totally outclassed.  They definitely didn’t show up and give people fodder to point at them Clemson was actually seeded properly.   They were seeded poorly despite a conference title.   Same should have been done for all the other weaker teams despite their titles.
