So Kyler Murray gets praised as the best little QB...

I think Murray is more likely to make a wow play, but seems to make a lot more wtf plays and hasn't gotten any better.  He made several of those today, including a pass after he crossed the los that the refs missed, but fortunately, we intercepted, so it didn't matter.

Bryce still struggles at times, but he does appear to be getting better.  Murray is what he is at this point.

I'm not a stats guy. I watch games and judge off the eye test. Anybody with a decent mind can see Bryce has improved as a QB. Nobody saying he's elite, but given the roster around him he's doing damn good to keep us competitive vs playoff caliber teams.

Stats don't always tell the story. If we going on stats how the hell is Lamar Jackson not going to be the 3x MVP his stats are much better than Allen.

Except if you watch the games Allen impact has been much greater than Lamar and he's doing it with less on offense. That's why he's the MVP! Stats only tell you so much about the game.

See now this is a good post, great job.

I like it. Put more talent around him those stats can be even better.

Will need to get a lot better pretty quick though.  That production level puts you smack dab in the we need to find a QB range.   17th-ish level.

we’ve devoted everything of late to putting talent around him.  We can’t really afford (literally and figuratively) to keep that up.  Got to got fix the D to round out the team.

Because MVP is a popularity/trendy/political type thing. If anything MVP doesn't matter.

Lamar, Goff, Allen.  That would be my vote.

Lamar getting penalized because he just won and won before…and frankly he just isn’t that marketable.  Or they don’t want to market him that hard.  The powers that be are looking to give it to Allen because they see Mahomes/Allen as their new Manning/Brady.

Agreed. Lamar is beating Allen in just about every stat. I think Dak actually beat Lamar in most stats last year though…

Team put up points. We ran for a lot. We won. Defense didn't stop the run all day. Clock was running for a good while, resulting in fewer possessions. Bryce had a good day no matter how you wanna slice it.

If this is a good day, all the other QBs must be all HOFers🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Stop what? It's a legitimate and realistic judgment that I figured was giving him a little too much

You know they are completely different QBs. Bryce will never have Kyler's athleticism - speed and arm strength. Kyler will never have Bryce's accuracy with arm angles or anticipation on his throws. Their only similarity is height.

Tbh Lamar didn't deserve to win it last year. He didn't have the stats.

I agree with the poster above the MVP is all political I don't even care who wins it these days. They push narratives for certain guys.

Lamar didn't deserve to win it last year. This year he should have won it. The voting makes no sense is it about stats or the best QB on the best team.

MVP voting is a joke in all sports.

I think the Panthers won.  Today doesn’t prove player A is better than player B.

all things being equal for a billion dollars and I needed to insert a QB? I’m picking Kyler as of today.

I'm not, especially not given Murray has been in the NFL longer but actually looks worse.

Murray's never been much more than an athlete trying to play quarterback, and I doubt he ever will be.

I don't know what Young is yet, but I can at least say he's improving.

Even if you cherry pick Bryce post benching and ignore everything else and project it out over a full season…..

there is no statistical argument Kyler has ever been worse even cheating the argument toward Bryce post benching

I’m no Murray fan as I agree he is more athlete than QB.   And I’m open to Bryce improving and support us continuing to develop him as this point.   But just being an athlete, Murray has been better overall to date
