Shitstain owns a 5-5 record against the Canes with a .908 SV% while allowing 2.75 GAA.

Kochetkov is 2-2 against the Rags, with a very respectable .923 SV% and a 2.27 GAA.

All that said, both teams are not close to their former selves of the last few years. 

Nevertheless, Canes don't play early afternoon games well, don't play well at MSG and there's no reason to have any lofty expectations today. A loss won't surprise me, 1 point I'll be happy with and a win will be cause for celebration.

I think the cream has risen to the top. The team at present is what it is. Make the playoffs as a wildcard, 3rd in metro, and regroup in the offseason.
