All of Bryce’s weapons that left the team

Lol we get it you hate Bryce so much that even when he makes tough throws it’s not him it’s the receivers. But when they lose it’s all him. I think we got it you don’t have to repeat yourself

Where Young is concerned you constantly repeat yourself   I wish he could be everything you think he is

i do not hate Bryce Young

i do noT actively root for him to fail

i have simply accepted his floor is his ceiling

What i do hate is that the Panthers picked him to be something he cant be and wasted players , draft picks and veterans’ longevity on him

After year 3, cut bait

He showed growth and progression for 5 straight games prior to last week.  I think next few games will  be telling, but I'm not sure what his ceiling may be.   All I'm saying is he did some really good things, showed that he can play against the blitz, carry the team on game tying or potential game winning drives... the jury is still out.  I wish he would have had Tank Dell, Nico Collins, Hunter Henry, Malik Nabers and other young receivers to be fairly evaluated.

I was out on Bryce after week 2 because he looked like he was ruined, no confidence, scared of the pressure, not keeping his eyes downfield.  Even in the loss last week he didn't seem to revert back to that mindset despite the turnovers.  I think he needs at least one more weapon in addition to Coker hopefully being the next Puka Nacua.

5 weeks? More like 3. He didn't do squat to win that game against the Giants. That was Chuba and the defense getting 2 key turnovers and Jones shitting the bed. The game winning drive in OT he handed the ball off. That's not progress. That's Jimmy Claussen. That game was who wanted to lose it more and Jones won.

He looked better the next 3, and then he poo the bed all over again against Dallas. 3 fumbles is inexcusable.

So far we've devoted

3 1sts, 2 in trade plus XL

4 2nds, 2 in trade, Mingo, Brooks (plus 2 5ths)

Sanders and Zavala in the 4th

DJ Moore

Plus the most expensive offensive line in the league.

Maybe he'd have more weapons if we hadn't had to pay a kings ransom to be better than one of the worst rookie QB seasons in history.

How many Josh Allen's are there?  I think every team's wants a Josh Allen.  There aren't many available very often.   Look at Stroud this season when his oline and receivers haven't played as well.

Bo Nix is a rookie Qb & at the same time plays behind one of if not the worse oLines in the NFL right now the Broncos lead the NFL in allowing the most sacks at 51 so far this season

& Josh Allen's Buffalo Bills have allowed the fewest sacks this season  ...just saying

What is Young’s record ?

what are his rankings ?

why do defenses stack the box against the run more  against Young than Dalton

He was a bad draft pick at 1 by a fired

wishing  and hoping wont change it

they stack the box & will continue doing so  because they know Bryce Young is not going to beat them with his arm.

Someone finally is being real. That Giants game being apart of his “good” games was always laughable. He was mediocre, and it shows how low the bar is. OP was always reaching on 5 games

You can't talk sense to these people.

Multiple seasons of 3 wins before they drafted stroud, nico Collins was a nobody, no run game, the o line aint never been good. All that talent but couldn't win any games with davis mills? People right here on this very forum said Stroud would have a rough rookie because that team had nothing around but magically that flips as soon as stroud starts beasting on the league.

Yall opinions of that texans team have made NO sense from day one.

Imagine you're a rookie and this is what they surround you with in addition to a terrible offensive line.  Of course you'll be terrible.  Thielen was his only reliable receiver.

And coaches/play callers that didn’t know how to use you or the rest of the team.

It's a big ask to make a small bodied small arm to be useful.

If he can make the good performances we've seen this year his floor and minimize the bad to just a handful of games he can be great in the right offense. That's basically the original vision they had of dude. Eye popping stats were always a pipe dream which is why they've been saying stuff like "game manager" and "point guard" since before he hit the field. The idea all along has been that for Young to be great he has to be one of the most consistent QBs in the NFL to make up for what lacks. He's not there yet but I've seen enough to believe he could be with the right pieces.

I agree with everything you said, with exception one word in the first sentence  (I changed to average) and most of the last sentence.  He had a good game yesterday.  Things went about as well as they could for him.  Again, I can't bank on everything falling exactly into place like that week-to-week.  To caveat he's going to have a good game if everything else falls into place is not the pins and needles I want to be be sitting on each Sunday. I rather have a solid QB and can overcome a lost fumble or tipped pass for a INT.    Winning with a clean sheet is a lot easier than winning when overcoming adversity.  That's what Bryce has yet to do.

Every QB needs weapons. Every one. Mahomes 1st round pick was a WR. They got Diggs for Josh Allen on top of what he already had there, and then they drafted a WR in the first . The Ravens have been trying to find WRs for Lamar forever. Herberts first round pick was a WR. If you don't have a playmaking WR, then you're looking for one. Hence why their salary increase is pacing that of QBs. But Bryce is supposed to make due when his best receivers are a 34 years old UDFA and a rookie UDFA. Y'all are truly tripping as this point.

    • I think we are seeing one of the Panthers' greatest coaching seasons in our 30 year history.  Bryce was horrible--how he is approaching average. The defense was not really addressed in the offseason and we lost Burns, Gross Matos, Shaq Thompson, Derrick Brown, and Action Jackson from last year.  On offense, Canales benched Bryce after 2 games.  most of us thought he was done.  Teams offered conditional seventh rounders and the brain trust on the Huddle was shouting, "Do IT!!!"  Canales stayed with Bryce. On offense, we lost our starting center early, our #1 WR, our #2 WR (AT), our #3 WR (Mingo), and a former second rounder (TMJ).  For much of the year, we have had XL, Coker, and Moore at WR. This team was getting blown out early on--with wins against powerhouses Vegas, the NY Giants--then November happened.  A win vs the Saints, and heart-breaking losses vs. Tampa, Kansas City, and Philly--all playoff teams (probably).  This team has gone from a joke to being competitive.  A few players away from being relevant. I cannot think of a better coaching job--except maybe 2003.  And this team is likely to win 4-5 games. Think about it.  A rookie head coach with a positive attitude has done this in about 15 games.  I am sold.
    • Brother in case you didn't know, the new BY scale is being used here with this UDFA form another team..
