The panthers looked at him as generational iq player. People forget that drew brees was seen as pretty average until he paired up with Sean Peyton. He also put on some muscle mass.

bryce is still young. I think his number 1 priority is finding a way to gain muscle. His instincts and accuracy are there. He looks like a kid out there still. 

it all goes back to my original point that he needs time to grow. His intangibles are too good for him to be this bad in my opinion. I get it if you’ve given up on him I just think that’s the entire issue with the nfl right now - teams don’t I think long term enough (and tepper is the number 1 culprit of that)

It's not so much giving up on him, I was never fully convinced he was worth the price from day 1. That is why you don't sell the farm for such a limited player.  For what was paid for him, he should be ready to go from the beginning. We cannot just wait for him to get it, that is for late round picks. 

He can gain muscle, but my concern continues to be that he fumbles when touched way too much. He is just too small.

Hendon Hooker is a name that strikes me as an interesting option at Qb .

i am just not sure the Lions would be willing to trade Hooker right now & almost certain they do not plan on cutting him anytime soon
