Steve Smith ran a 6.84 cone according to wiki..

If you go to Wiki again you will see why you can not trust anything on it. NFLdraftscout.com has the same 7.44 .

Although 6.84 makes a lot more sense. Still I am not concerned at all about his agility.

if we are going to wait until after the 2nd to get a WR i think they should look at Andre Roberts.

It would be awesome if fell to round 4. He is a tough read coming out of the Citadel but he played against some tough competition and looked just as tough. He also had a much better combine than Ford.

He is nasty w/ the short stuff and screens and probably has better potential as a return man than Ford. Better hands also.

Every time I watched Ford from higher up in the stands his cuts just always looked so rounded. Once he gets up to speed he can't change direction well at all.

3rd would be acceptable, but I would rather get a guy who can make people miss. Shaking a few people and getting run down at the 40 is better than blazing up the 25.

There are a lot of guys I would rather have than Ford, even in the 3rd. I think he's too much of a gamble. I won't be unhappy with the pick though.

Ford was 2nd in the 10-yard...what exactly is that drill. Just a 10yd dash?

too lazy to look up.

Yes the first 10 yards in his 40 yard dash.. it is used to measure "explosiveness" of the line for WRs.

I wouldn't mind taking Ford in the 4th round.. I don't think he is worth a 2nd rounder. I think he would contribute right away in the return game, and contribute in the passing game in a couple years.. comparable to what Smitty did.

he also seems to be very well dicisplined (military school after all) and motivated. reminds me of a player that will want to get better on his own, but a team player. he also has very good hands, only dropped a few passes his entire college career.
