I don't.. Ford ran over a 5.0 in his cone drill which is worse than most lineman.. he has straight line speed only.. and no agility.

He ran a 7.00 which is faster then Smiths time (at least the only time I could find of 7.44)

No wonder so many NFL teams are looking at Martin as a cornerback prospect. Not only did he prove at the combine that he has the speed to run with receivers down the field, but he was also one of the most fluid and graceful defensive backs during position drills. I still think Martin has the makings of a ball-hawking free safety at the next level, but his three-cone time proves he also has the foot speed and body control to be successful at corner as well.

Ford doesn't have great YAC ablity imo....he doesn't move great laterally. If you let him run straight like in track he is fast. Put him on a football field w/ a guy w/ real agility and speed (Spiller) and Ford doesn't look fast at all. Shoot, if we grab a SC kid I'd rather them get the Citadel kid. If Ford is the only WR drafted by Carolina......that would suck.
