Peter King Snubs Smith

Dude, from what I've read here, Jesus Christ could play for either of us and he'd never receive airtime. Frick, he could score a TD, and then feed everyone in the stadium in the same motion and ESPN would still run 737845 angles of Randy Moss catching another meaningless pass one-handed.

I've kinda learned never to give a rats arse about what the media say about my team, because I know it will get me riled up beyond anything. So I let it wash over me, and just demand crow be eaten everytime my team wins. Speaking of which, I'm fairly certain I need to serve a good helping up to Deion 'Pacman is a saint' Sanders and Troy 'I wish the Cowboys could play the Cowboys in the Superbowl' Aikman after their efforts in the season so far :D

Dude, I am fairly new to these boards because I just recently discovered them. However, I would like to nominate this as POST OF THE YEAR!!!!! That was AWESOME and right on the money.

Don't worry about Sanders and Aikman, you just made Prime Time with D-Crypt.

I dont understand the hype of Nnamdi Asomugha. Sure the guy was good 2 years ago when he had 8 INTs and 19 PDs. But last year he only had 1 INT with 7 PDs and this year only 1 INT again with 9 PDs.

Thats because noone throws his way.....we did and you saw what happened. That was the only game that Smith was pretty much shut down.

1 reception 9 yards.

Thats because Jake was terrible on every single one of his throws. He couldn't hit the side of a barn if he was standing 2 feet from it.

I've always been a loyal reader of King - I like his style and he's often well informed. However, this year he's really rubbed me the wrong way. He's said some outright foolish things, overlooked a number of key teams and players, and voices his political/social opinions far too often. Looking for another regular read...

You're a panther fan so you're gonna be a bit biased. Williams looks like a totally different player in his 3rd year, but he's also on a far better team.

AP is all they have. He doesn't have a Steve Smith who demands double teams or even a QB who teams are going to respect. He's facing 8 and 9 man boxes every time he runs.

That's actually an insightful comment from a Philly fan. Until today, I would have argued that to be the ultimate oxymoron.
