Film analysis of Panthers defense against Dallas. Same issues for year

Recommended Posts

Dallas game

same 3 plays over and over again ..from beginning of game to end

1  allowed multiple WR screens

2  blitzed frequently, failed to get there, left middle of field open

3  poor communication in defensive backfield  ie Safety on Lamb

first time I’ve heard this podcaster say ‘clean house’

Good stuff

(3rd leg) Greg Olsen mentioned during the broadcast that our coaching staff knows we don't have the players to win 1 on 1 matchups on a consistent basis so we have to blitz in order to create negative plays.

Mike McCarthy exposed our weak safety play all day long. Evero is doing the best he can with what he has.

I thought he wanted most of these guys because they had played for him before and knew his system?

I wouldn’t hate safety in 2nd round if we can’t land a stud in Free Agency. Xavier Watts is a two time All-American. There haven’t been many all American safety’s lately that haven’t turned into starters lately. He’s done it twice.
