No relevance other than I think it's a pretty remarkable change in muscle tone over the course of 1 season. Theres plenty of evidence that Deangelo worked very hard between 07 - 08 and this is just a visual comparison of that change.

Uh...I'm no expert on muscle tone, but isn't he doing more of an arm flex in the 2nd picture? I don't notice a huge difference in any case. I do remember reading that he had lost a little weight and really gotten in shape this year, and that was a big reason behind his breakout season.

I see a difference and perhaps it is because he isn't flexing. I think his forearms seem much more defined more than anything.

white vs. black wrist tape is the difference.

you are comparing an arm that is holding a ball and is using the forearm muscles and his arm that isn't doing anything so it isn't flexing.

there isn't any difference really.
