Run Defense is historically bad

Evero needs to go, the 3-4 defense needs to go, load up on defensive talent in the draft

If there ever was an identity with this organization it was in being physical and able to stop the run. This is embarrassing

Every single week the runs are either up the gut for 7-8 yards, or the RB just does a one cut for a big gain because nobody ever sets the edge. I don't know if it's players or scheme but it happens every single week for players and coaches to not know that it's a glaring issue.

Evero is a victim of lack of talent.  He runs a 3-4.  That's what he is brought in here to run.   Then we go into the season with a glaring lack of talent even when fully healthy.  That was a front office decision. Then, he loses his best overall defender and key DL player in Brown at the kickoff of the season.

We've never had the personnel to run a 3-4. That was Tepper's brain child when he bought the team. Ron had run 4-3 his entire tenure and all of a sudden on the coaching hot seat he completely switches defensive schemes and we stick with it once he's gone? That call came from up above.

Of course it is. We set these wheels in motion to put our #1 pick in the best possible situation to succeed.

We knew this would get ugly when we spent 150 million on the OL in free agency and traded up for both of our first 2 picks for offense.

This is like setting your house on fire and then screaming your head off that someone else did it.

And somehow our offense is still largely cheeks.

Why is Evero the only one n the building that gets a pass for his contributions?  The defense flat out sucks.  Yes guys are hurt, but that’s the job.  Every team has injuries every year and we’re at the point where every single team ever has been better on the defensive side of the ball.

It takes more than injury to accomplish that feat.
