Allen playing for the Panthers in SB 50 would have won the game going away.........putting up 34 or more points.

Cam on the other hand on the biggest stage of his career was very pedestrian in that game.

Josh Allen would've gotten his head turned into a piñata too. When a team is allowed to flat out target your QB in spite of the fact that targeting the head of the QB was THE officiating focus that season, what are you to do?

Well, in hindsight after the second or third one went uncalled one of our OL should've just taken Von Miller out. I'm not for dirty play but if the refs aren't going to protect your QB from dirty play then the OL needs to do their job and protect their QB. I just really don't believe they thought that the refs were going to flat out refuse to throw those flags all night long.

Allen is more accurate we all know that was one of Cam's biggest knocks throughout his career. Although in 2018 he looked to be changing that for the better until well you know.

But Josh Allen still has to get past Patrick Mahomes. Good luck with that is all I can say.

This is like somebody arguing over who is the hottest Playboy centerfold acting like some are beneath their standards while they're out there striking out on threes at the local dive bars.

For the love of god we'd give the entire organization to include Bank of America stadium for either.

Can Newton got them pointy elbows tho…

the better question:  Who will have the longest career--Cam was about a decade--All it takes is one freak injury or the wear and tear starts setting in, causing you to do things differently (mechanics).  then other injuries set it.  Josh has been in it for 7 years--we shall see.

I feel like Cam always had some nagging injuries and stuff though from the start even though he didn't miss time for most of them.  I believe he had ankle surgery in college and then had problems with it in his first couple seasons before all the shoulder stuff.

    • We switched to the 3-4 at the start of the 2019 season. I remember reading an article on the web...possibly even from this site...stating that this was what Tepper wanted and Rivera obliged him. We've hired 3 head coaches since then and none of them has even hinted at moving back to a 4-3. I can't help but think that our owner still wants to run a 3-4, but I could be wrong. I wish someone could bring this up at a postseason conference and gauge the attitude to such a question/suggestion.
    • Your spellcheck, autocorrect, or whatever is failing you. Canales has been getting praise from many podcasts and sports media. He is getting quite a bit more out of this team than people imagined. They have loss five or more games by less than one score. That happens all the time during a rebuild/turn around. You have to learn how to win and part of that is penalties. There is positivity around the team now and the last thing they need to do is fire their head coach. They do have a lot of penalties, but they have been dealing with a new system, youth, and injuries all season long. It is just the way the cookie crumbles with those factors in play. Now please be quiet.🤣
    • It's an odd situation because he's not great, but he is serviceable and you can help him out with the scheme and chipping. Just don't give him a mega deal and he can stay. Let him test the market if he's not happy.
