"Sims, Detroit's ninth overall pick in 2006, was due to make $1.8 million in the final year of his rookie contract. And after trading him away, the Lions' roster now includes none of the 39 draft picks former team president Matt Millen made from 2002 to 2006."

My only guess would be that's because Bullocks just signed his tender tonight?

I dunno. He definitely was drafted by the Lions in 2006.

I seriously think you could take a drunk homeless guy off the street and put him in a NFL War Room and he could throw darts at a draft board and be better at drafting then Millen.

I have leave the room or change the channel when that jack a55 is on ESPN. Matt Millen took a proud franchise and dragged them down. The season before he took over we missed the playoffs by a field goal. From that time on they sucked. Then in 2005 they gave him a contract extension and they continued to suck. Fired 3 years into that contract his handiwork resulted in a perfect season 0-16. I jumped ship a long time ago. Now that they seem to be making sound football decisions i care again.

It may not be all him, but he has had a big hand in making them bottom dwellers for a long time.

I mean who really wants to live in Detroit, much less play for them. The same could be said for Buffalo IMO.
