Couldn't watch the game today (funeral)

Well, it was looking promising until I walked out the door about 1:15, then we apparently sucked. What happened? Bryce? Legette? The HC? Coordinators? O-line and D-line?

Give me your honest & objective (as possible) assessment.

The defense could not get off the field, and they frequently were put on short fields... Offense was not good, to put it lightly. Chuba was largely contained. Coker had a great TD on broken coverage but showed real speed to take it all the way. OL had their worst game of the season. Young had terrible turnovers, missed throws, and just looked too much like Old Bryce.

The defense got their balls pushed in by the Dallas offensive line and made their mediocre running back look like Emmitt Smith. They were repeatedly fooled by about 800 wide receiver screens to Lamb.

On offense the line was horrendous. Icky played like he has for most of his career. Young was indecisive and failed to take care of the ball. The playcalling was boring and unimaginative.

Sorry for your loss

Thanks. It wasn't my loss per sé, but my brother-in-law's sister and her husband whom I have known for 20+ years. They had a baby girl, born in May of this year prematurely---only one pound and four ounces. The little girl fought for seven months. They finally let her come home about 10 days ago (at six pounds). Everyone thought that she was on her way to a full healthy life. She was able to actually see the sun and the sky, and spend a few nights at home in a room with her Christmas tree. She unexpectly stopped breathing and passed away on about the fifth or sixth night. It was a difficult, tragic situation for us all. But the parents are strong and steadfast in their faith.

God Bless them all, I am so sorry to hear that. I’m glad that they got to spend some time together at home. I will pray for you and your in laws sisters family. I too suffered a loss this last week, an aunt, it is never easy. It’s important to enjoy the time we have together with our friends and loved ones.

That’s heartbreaking, my condolences and prayers for the family.

You have my condolences as well. I lost my grandmother (98) in August, and her sister (99) roughly two  weeks later. We couldn't get but so sad because they were so old (like 1 in 10000 people live to that age), but they---my grandmother, especially---were still central to the family and are missed.
