Bryce May Not Be the Answer

I don't believe that. Our OL is good. We have a good RB. We have good young receivers. We need more receiving help and definitely a better D but Bryce has to overcome significant physical limitations that these other prospects don't have.

Unless you have Andrew Luck or Cam Newton talent level in the draft, you take BPA and build the roster. Maybe sign another free agent to compete or draft a QB next year if he doesn’t improve but I believe he has shown that he is more than capable of being a starting QB and give you a chance to win. How quickly we forget what he did last few weeks

If this doesn't some this franchises fans up in one post I don't know what would lololol

Water is wet.

Career backup incoming.

Don't be happy with mediocrity this fan base is always to nice and complacent. Demand a dominate team or nothing. BY will never dominate a game. Accept it on move on. He sucks

The best we've seen this offense at any point in the season was with Dalton. The only game where we scored 30 or more points.

He’s also a 14 year veteran so what?  Do you forget how he looked in his last 3 games before it went back to Bryce? You see what you want to see

His Atlanta start would be one of Bryce’s best games. I also think he got hurt in that game but they’ve never announced that

He's our QB for 2025 at least it's not the year to try draft one. Plus we put another rookie QB into this side we will be in the same situation. Add as much talent as possible this offseason and let Bryce sink or swim he will either be our guy or we will be looking for one in a much better QB class

I agree 100% with this

Where did I say Dalton is good? You removed the rest of the post that clearly stated what he is at this stage in his career. And that's the point. He stinks. But he's still the best we've seen at any point in the last 2 seasons. And yet still there are people such as yourself here with subterranean level standards for Bryce Young.

And you telling someone else they see what they want to see is peak hypocrisy to the point I might have to get you a wellness check.

Josh Allen has more yards in 12 attempts before halftime than Bryce has had in all but two games this season and all but five in his career.

I mean... that kinda says everything.

Come on, prop the kid up to where mediocre status justifies taking him #1 overall after trading away the entire farm.  Just don't call him a bust, please. Saying JAG is so much better.  That's the level of play we want for our franchise QB, apparently.

Seriously you’re beyond pathetic with your obsession with me and being right about Bryce.

I am totally fine if we move on from Bryce eventually if he doesn’t develop but it won’t be this season.

Look at my posts and read yours and folks can judge who is more measured and rational

I'm pretty sure Bryce isnt the answer, I've seen improvement but it still isn't much more than backup quality.  This isn't the draft to go get your guy, sign a vet let them have a true competition and fill in the holes on the roster through the draft.

Bryce needs a perfect setup to play above average and it happened for a few games.  Any cracks in the overall team dynamic like today, he struggles. I think it's asinine to pour money and resources over all aspects of the team to prop up the QBs level to merely above average.  I'm thinking long term and if this Bryce looks like this again next year, it will be time to move on.

Okay well what else are you going to do with the money? You think it's asinine to build around your young #1 overall draft pick? I don't really understand what you're trying to say. If we surround Bryce with weapons and he fails wouldn't the team be set up for us to insert X Qb into X scenario? Why would we want a new QB to come in with 0 resources surrounding them. Your post just doesnt make sense to me.

You're "totally fine if we move on" but are deadset against drafting a QB at any point next year and fine with just running it back with this QB room? Do you actually think the other players on the roster whose careers depend on all this are good with that? Does Bryce Young matter more than them?

I do not think you are this measured and rational person you falsely present yourself to be. How many posts of yours have I pooed simply because I disagree with you? Now direct that same question at yourself and assess.

Bryce may not be the answer. I'd like him to be cuz it's best for the team but they should bring in someone to compete with him. Everybody is entitled to a bad day and it seemed like the entire team had a bad day today except for coker

True, but he's kinda had a bad career. I've watched the Huddle tear apart much better QBs for much less.

    • For what its worth, as a Huddler and football fan, this is a lesson I won't forget.
    • I don't think he's using the term luxury pick correctly
    • 1. Couldn’t run the ball effectively Zimmer took away the run game early and forced us to throw, especially when we got down early due to turnovers. Canales abandoned too early when we came out of the half he probably should’ve tried to re-establish the run 2. Pressure Cowboys defensive line generated significant pressure without having to blitz resulting in 6 sacks and constant pressure to disrupt the rhythm between Bryce and his receivers  3. Lack of separation on deep routes  Aside from the Coker play, receivers can’t get separation quickly enough to make them pay deep for stacking the box due to #2 above. Bryce also seemed less decisive than last few weeks, not sure if he was seeing new looks that made him hesitate  4. No YAC (other than Coker TD) Short throws were there due to two deep safeties but our receivers don’t have the ability to run after catch.  Not sure if this is also a schematic problem. Canales tried it with XL a couple of times. Conversely Dallas got a ton of YAC from similar short throws  5. Turnovers.   You can’t win in NFL if you do this. Bryce must do better.
