My 2 OG's went from being good friends to now they both slander me any chance they get smh.

Play like trash I will trash you. Play good I will praise you. So yeah opinions can change on a player based on their play.

Nobody's slandering you. But calling people out for doing exactly what you yourself have done is kind of comical.

Bryce may or not be the guy. My bigger concern is the FO ability to build around him either way while still building a team that can compete year in and out.

Nobody is writing off Caleb. Panthers fans are simply enjoying that the Bears fans that trolled Panthers fans during the offseason over the draft trade are now suffering in a similar fashion:

  • Thomas Brown-led offense that doesn't have receivers run further than 5yds downfield
  • Porous OL
  • Battered QB that's trying to do something, anything to keep the play alive

Caleb is actually gonna be so good once the bears get their poo together. Side note, Thomas brown should never be on an NFL coaching staff again

Discord server that spun off from the Panthers subreddit. Actively maintained and organized. Lots of good faith discussion as well. A few of the more knowledgeable posters from here have since moved over there.

Cool, how do you join it?

Frankw praying this go horribly wrong for Bryce so that he can spit I told you so's all the way to next season lmao.

Some of you have developed quite the warped scatter brained complex in defense of Bryce Young if you equate wanting to see him take a major step forward in his ascension to possibly becoming a franchise QB with wanting him to fail.

That same Chiefs team also let the Raiders take them down to the wire recently.

Wait... the Chiefs almost lost to Raiders while the Ravens did lose to the Raiders. How in the world is a 6-3 loss to them more impressive than a 30-27 loss vs. the defending SB champs that are currently 15-1?

You are so comically thin skinned in any conversation involving Bryce Young.

The Chiefs on paper overall are really not that great of a team this season in what has been a down year for most offenses. They have an opportunistic defense and as always they are carried by Mahomes and Kelce. Andy Reid might as well be a fuging sorcerer in comparison to most of the rest of the league my opinions about him on a personal level aside. They are absolutely maximizing what is an inferior team this year compared to others in recent seasons and if I have to argue that with you then you should go take a break and reassess.

We are to the point in the never Bryce cycle where the 15-1, #1 seed, 2x defending SB champions are actually not a good team and it isn’t impressive the Panthers took them down to a last sec FG and if you disagree you are the crazy one. Incredible.

Acknowledging this years Chiefs team is not as formidable as some people are suggesting ≠ dismissing Bryce's Young's performance.

Rational minds should be able to see the difference and discuss accordingly.

But some people act is if Bryce Young literally pays their bills and that's a personal problem they're going to have to figure out how to address on their own.

They're not nearly as good as their record indicates. They have been helped along the way a lot by questionable calls/non-calls. This season has been a clinic for the double standard of refereeing when the Chiefs are involved. I'd say they're actually much close to a 10-6 or 11-5 team than 15-1.

My guess, Chiefs win the SB, Kelce gets MVP and proposes to Taylor Swift at center field. What a way for Goodell to bring all those Swifties to the NFL for good, don't ya think? The perfect TikTok moment with the NFL center stage.

Sure, if that’s your discussion. But it isn’t. You posted that we should not judge Stroud playing the ravens because we would not have fared well against a SB ready team. Well we’ve played 2 and did quite well for where we are as a team. Then you try to rationalize it saying the Chiefs aren’t a great team and were taken to the wire by a bad raiders team. A bad raiders team that beat the Ravens. The chiefs also beat the ravens. You’re obviously an intelligent person which is why people on here occasionally call you out. The only explanation is you have a bias you wont let go that you try to disguise as being some team player shtick.

We have not played the Ravens all anyone can go on is speculation.

But the logic that those of you have been applying for months in this discussion is going to work against you here and highlight your own bias. People like you have been saying the Texans have so much talent. Certainly more than us. To justify why Stroud had looked better than Bryce Young. But looking at how the Ravens wiped the field with them that doesn't look to be the case. Yes Stroud struggled but as I've already said in this thread the Texans roster and organization as a whole is simply not that much superior to ours and never was. So yes with all this in mind I am of the opinion that we would have faced a very steep climb to compete much against the Ravens similarly to the Texans. Would we have managed more than 2 measly points? Maybe. But the way we got walloped by the Cowboys to me is a good enough indicator to give an idea of how a matchup with the Ravens would go at this point in their season.

They are falling apart and Bryce is figuring it out. We have the same # of wins

They play in a much tougher division and beat us head to head so I give them the edge. We'll see how things shake out next couple of years though.
