"Don’t Look Now, but Bryce Young is Closing the Gap on C.J. Stroud"

Hoping stroud sucks and the anger that comes with is not worth it.

Thats the path to the dark side.

There are five or six Huddlers that could've had a much more pleasant summer (and recent six weeks!) if they weren't such angry little goobers that instead spent a majority of the offseason shitting on Bryce in every thread that got created. 😛

BY did win the head2head against CJ......

The last 6 or 3 games, BY has been the better QB.

*But CJ is still fields ahead of BY. He took a 2-15 team to the playoffs the next year and he was the main/all of the reason. He was in the MVP race for most of the season and at mid point was the leader.

4 more leftd for this battle to clear up more.

I was a Bryce stan, loved the draft pick. Transitioned over 2023 to a firm believer that he was never going to be an NFL starting caliber QB. Now I am just waiting and seeing.

Glad to have him start to win me back. It's nice to not be a complete laughingstock.

That's one that that people have largely missed. The national media as moved on from us being the NFL laughingstock. That's impressive.

No one could see this roller coaster ride. I mean he's had 17 bad/awful games and 7 good/great ones. At any point you could be on the either side during. It's wrong to judge rookies, but he was the worst one in History that played a near full season. Glad he's no longer that player.

I dont know if you're the guy, I think you are. But I owe you a apology for Rashawn Slater. I thought he would never be able to stay a top level LT and even after a bad injury he has. I was wrong about him.

Last year was a perfect storm for Stroud. He's come back to where he should be in my books. I remember Trubisky making the Playoffs and Probowl. Saying that Bryce is still behind Stroud but the arrow is pointing up. We're in a good position to add talent this offseason to see if Bryce can truly succeed

I get people trying to be optimistic about BY future (I'm still not) but to say he's better or "closing in" on Stroud is ridiculous.

Texans are actually winning we are not. Texans line is trash, are line is not.

IMO BY is still not a starting NFL caliber QB that will bring home a championship but here's to hoping! 🍻🍻🍻

Stroud>BY

Perfect storm? They were one play away from having the #1 pick the year before. Nobody had them pegged as a playoff team. In actuality a lot of people said Stroud would be a long term project in Houston that would not do much of anything right away given their circumstances.

Trubisky comparison is out of pocket man come on lol

Trubisky in 2018:

20th in yards

21st in yards per attempt

29th in yards per game

30th in passer rating

Stroud in 2023:

8th in yards

5th in yards per attempt

3rd in yards per game

6th in passer rating

Yes...a team that averaged 3 wins over the previous 3 seasons was a perfect storm

 Absolutely perfect.

Lol.....Its insane how they keep pushing this narrative till this day. I actually feel for texan fans who constantly call out panther fans on their BS about their team. Imagine another fanbase trying to tell you how good your team has been after sucking that long lol

I didn't say it was a fluke and Stroud wasn't the reason for thier success last year. I'm just saying everything went right last year for the Texans Wrs, Coaching, Oline and so on.

But this year not so much and he's come back to earth that's even after they pushed the chips in during the offseason
