Agree to disagree

1. If you can get Higgins why not pay him?? It’s not like we don’t have the money to put into the Wr position..

2. Why are facts disingenuous?? We are literally talking about the best WR class in a decade 7 to 9 drafted in the 1st round.. He’s not going to have the scouting scores that Harrison, Nabers, Odunzee, Thomas or Ladd had.. He’s might have ratings lower the Mitchell Whorthy and Coleman as well.. And I forgot Ricky P..  It’s natural for this class to be weaker a year after so many WR’s came out last year.. Being the best in a weaker class is good for him but doesn’t automatically mean it’s a good thing and he is a number 1 on this team ..

3. You’re right about QB that’s why ppl are saying it’s a weaker class then last year..

4. The rest of this is fictional if’s but’s and excuses.. Plain and simple my point stands this draft is strong defensively which falls directly to a major need for this team .. Why fight against the grain when it’s a need and more talented players on that side of the ball??

LOL if you think he'd rank behind anyone you named after Odunze, and I think he's going to end up with draft grades in the exact same range as him and Nabers.  Just the fact that you think those other WRs would rank ahead of him is proof that you haven't watched enough of him to know him as a player, that's just comical.

Then that you don't think he'd be a #1 on the Panthers is also one of the dumbest things I've ever read on here, he's already better than any WR on our roster.

And if Higgins were to sign here, we would have to make him a Top 5 paid WR in the league.

Paying someone that kind of money who isn't worth the contract instead of spending it on vet defenders who can be impact starters from week 1 next year is exactly how you keep screwing up a franchise.

T-Mac is equally as good as Higgins right now, within a year or two of NFL experience it won't even be a debate anymore.  Spending the money he'd need to sign with us instead of drafting T-Mac and spending that money on defensive free agents would be a fireable offense for Morgan.

It can be a "down WR year" in comparison to last year given how many went in the 1st round, but that doesn't mean the players at the top of the draft wouldn't have been drafted highly last year (again, assuming this year's version of them, it's not fair to judge a Sophomore T-Mac last year against them as he's being drafted now).

Burden will go in the 12-15 range this year, he probably would have fallen back into the late 20's last year, but T-Mac and Hunter wouldn't, they might not be Top 5 because of those QB's and Harrison last year, but they'd have been Top 10 graded guys like Nabers and Odunze (who went over who would all come down to team preference I think, but all about the same grades).

Sorry bro jmo..

He is Drake London light!

Tmac is big contested catch wr type guy..

Not a great athlete not very fast solid route runner good hands..

We need the WR help but

1. Is rather have a vet who is ready to go day 1..  All rookies are development guys and we have 2 already on the roster.. You’re setting up a scenario where we drafted 2 1st round WR who will need to be paid around the same time not to mention the undrafted guy who could be better then both of them… 3 Wr needing to be paid on their 2nd contract around the same time is bad team management..

2. If we draft a WR top 5 he has to be more then just “big contested catch guy” .. Sorry I need explosive athlete , Yard after catch , Speed and route runner professional guy.. Aka (Jamar Chase).. If I’m spending a top pick on a player..

3. This not paying Higgins thing is a joke .. Why not ?? He is a proven Number target guy.. Every thing you like about Tmac Higgins already does plus he faster.. And lately every team with a young QB they wanted to develop made a move and paid a top level FA WR.. Again we have the money and we’re not spending a lot at the Wr position.. Paying Higgins helps the team sooner helps BY sooner and fits the timeline better.. When it’s time to pay XL and Coker Higgins is coming off the books.. Instead of using another 1st round pick and having the whole future WR corps having to be paid at the same time..

Again JMO

uh, where to begin

XL will never be the player T-Mac will be, so not taking him because we have XL and would need contracts around the same time would be an asinine reason to not draft a player of T-Mac's potential

You talk about how rookies need time to develop, well rookies on the defensive side of the ball usually take longer to develop than elite WR prospects, so going back to your other post about drafting defense and spending the cap on a WR, it's just backwards for who will be more ready to contribute from day one.

And no, paying Higgins doesn't help Bryce more, as T-Mac is already equally as good as him, if not already better.  And Higgins doesn't have T-Mac's hands, in fact, not many current NFL WR's do, he has vice grips covered in glue for hands.

But more importantly, to your point about Higgins doing everything T-Mac can do but faster... uh, Higgins ran a 4.59, he's not a speedster, I would bet my bottom dollar that T-Mac runs a sub 4.5 40 at the combine.  You seem to think he's just a contested catch guy, but he's not, he is regularly used in the screen and short crossing route game because he is actually really good after the catch.

I again go back to, if these are your opinions of T-Mac, it means you haven't watched enough of him.

Even if you want defense over WR, that's a much more fair argument, but your comparison of him to Higgins and thinking paying Higgins 30 million a year instead of drafting T-Mac is smarter, just makes no sense (and that's before even factoring in Higgins injury history).

At some point you have to realize you are truly going overboard with your Analysis on Tmac..

No he is not better then Higgins or close to the player Higgins is because reality is one is a proven Pro bowl player and 1 hasn’t play 1 down of pro football…

I’m debating your opinion based on fictions and projections.. You love the guy cool hope he becomes The Randy Moss you think he is..
I still rather pay the money for a proven vet and draft defense which is the strength of this draft.. jmo

Funniest part about this is

Tmac pro comparison is Drake London and you guess it Tee Higgins

https://syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/10135809-tetairoa-mcmillan-nfl-draft-2025-scouting-report-for-arizona-wr.amp.html

Of course you think I didn’t watch him but Basically every scout breakdown says the same thing I said…

https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Tetairoa-McMillan-WR-Arizona

Again Not a bad player and he has a chance to be a mid number 1 wr like (London, Pittman, Sutton) High end he could develop into Mike Evans.. But if I’m using a top 5 pick I  Want a Chase , Harrison JR or Nabers type player.. And agin that after going after a proven pro ready TMac type player in FA (Higgins)..
