Not sure how being bottom 10 in passing justifies so much confidence..

To me, as an idiot with a keyboard (the most dangerous kind!), I think we're seeing improvements.

Looking at the entire operation this season (not last season), there have been improvements week to week.  There have also been times when the team has been maddeningly inconsistent.   So this is a young team coached by a young coach.  Ok.

We aren't some kind of mega great team.  We are a struggling team.  Is it all Bryce's fault?  No.  Bryce faultless?  No.  The truth is in the middle: he makes some good plays, he makes some questionable decisions.  We don't have a real explosive threat.  Teams are playing us close to the line of scrimmage because no one scares them.  Bryce also doesn't have a cannon of an arm either.

What I've seen is Bryce is playing like a different player from the first two games of the season.  He's much more confident and joyful.  Everyone has their thing.  Cam needed to get hit a few times to get lathered up. Others have to feel disrespected.  Whatever - these pros play the game differently.  He's playing better, which is a big deal.

Bryce has also driven the team to leading scores in the last few minutes of games.  XL's drop, if he hadn't, would have put us at a tie.  If Eddy hit the extra point, we could have won.   Against Tampa and KC, he lead scoring drives only to get that pulled out from under him by bad tackling on QB scrambles.  I think he's got that clutch gene.

Now Bryce did also have a terrible INT, missed some plays, and didn't have as strong a game as he's had over the past few weeks since he's been back starting.  But, no other QB in the league has ups and downs.  They are all amazing 100% of the time.

I get it.  Some of y'all don't like Bryce.  That's fine.  But the team owes it to themselves to keep riding Bryce.  The players believe in Bryce.  Let's see how that investment turns out.  If he falls apart next season, then you move on.  You gave him three seasons.  Then maybe you get in the Arch Manning sweepstakes (or whoever is the hot QB candidate).

But I think (again, I'm an idiot with a keyboard) Bryce is playing better.  Let's keep riding this bus through 2025.

From one idiot to another I cosign this.

Bryce’s numbers would be much better if the receivers could catch passes thrown right in their hands…This young quarterback is coming along well. He just needs people to catch the ball. These guys get paid more $$$ than we will ever make in a lifetime and if the ball hits you in the hands, you have to bring it in….it is their job!

Well it sure has the Eagles in a tizz. Players are grumbling in Philly. Bryce is leaving chaos everywhere he goes.

who would have thunk that the ripples left by 9 and the panthers D could do so much mental damage?

i love it. wins don't feel like wins because they know they barely escaped.

Doesn't Bryce's receivers have some of the least separation in the league and he's throwing in tight windows on like many plays?  I get that his "fantasy" stats aren't amazing but you can watch him and see things are moving forward for him.  The game has slowed down.  And the way he plays at the end of the game is big.  If Sanders doesn't stop running in the first quarter, that's a big gain and a TD probably.  XL dropped a pass.  Theilen was robbed of a TD the week before.  If we're going to talk about "stats" then yeah, those should be on the sheet.

But watching him out there, he's a gamer right now.  He just needs his boys to catch passes and get open more.  At least we have a good offensive line this year.  Get more reliable receivers that can catch and stop drafting projects and we'll see how he does.

Well damn, he finally looks like he has the mental aspect of it in check and his confidence moving well which should enable him to develop more and more each week now. He appeared to have the worst confidence of any player I have ever watched but now he is looking much better. Feels like he has a real poo to develop the rest of the way and in the off-season now with just his head worked out. I hope he can continue to grow and develop form here. It's not the current I'm seeing and hopeful for, it's his future now that he has a little belief in himself. He's sensitive no doubt but that benching did him some good to relax and get his mind together.

Without reading any of the responses, let me say that you should be looking at Bryce's numbers since getting off the bench. You can't get a clear picture of improvement without that. Where have we ranked since then? Never mind the fact that Thielen returned during that time as well. You should also be looking at his efficiency (QBR & passer rating), and along with that take the passes that should've been caught.

If you come away with the same conclusion after all that, I'd say that yourd not giving Bryce his true justice.

No, the receivers have been separating. Bryce is doing what he should've been doing.

Stats aside, it's all about the eye test for me. These last 3 weeks I've seen a franchise QB. If not for a botched snap and a egregious drop, we probably beat the two best teams in the NFL. Both times driving his team down the field to win the game. He's escaping the pocket more, making plays with his feet, making good NFL throws (still want to see his deep ball get better), reading the defense better, etc. I mean, just turn on his film from earlier in the year to now.......it is night and day.

Now, I have to see it for the remainder of the year before I jump on the bandwagon. But if you're still trying to downplay Bryce after what we've seen the last month, then you really do just want to see him fail.

I was someone who thought that there was no way he could get there. He took two weeks to sit, and I guess that processor kicked in after he got to observe, and man, the eye test is fine.

I'd bet there are at least 100 or more yards in dropped passes that are out there impacting stats as well. If Legette hangs on to that pass against the Eagles, Bryce is over 200 yards with two touchdowns and a win over the NFC front runners.
